Thousand Trails from BC to DL?

We are thinking about driving from our home in the LowerMainland down the Oregon Coast and to DL this summer. We have Thousand Trails - has anyone done this trip before? Pros/Cons? What about camping in LA - can we get something close? We were thinking about even leaving the rig in Southern Oregon in storage and running the SUV alone to DL - any suggestions on that idea?

I don't know what Thousand Trails is, sorry (camping term? We aren't campers, unless you count KOA cabins lol) but we have done the drive down from the Lower Mainland to Disneyland/LA several times. Both via I5 and down the coast (LOVE Oregon!!) As long as you have the time I would definitely drive down the coast, at least one direction. There are RV parks close to Disneyland, this one appears to be only a few blocks from DL:

This one is not walking distance however the ART stops out front. I would choose this one over the Harbor one. Have stayed in both with a tent and way prefer the rv park even tho it's more expensive.
