I was curious what DISers here think of the food at Whispering Canyon. Im also interested in seeing how their steak holds up compared to others like Le Cellier.

we ate there last Tuesday night, and NO the steak does not compare to leCellier IMO Honestly, the food was ok but the entertainment was hilarious. Our waiter was loud and even got the men to get up and sing and dance to "I'm a little teapot" hilarious!

It's definitely not gourmet food, or close to anything you would find in a signature restaurant, but we still enjoyed it. If you're looking for a fun, unique restaurant with good food and good entertainment, then try out WCC. If you looking for the best steak you can get at WDW, then I would look elsewhere.

We were disappointed to be seated in the "middle" room. When we got there(a place with all of 3 tables) I said "Oh no! NO man's land!"
To which the hostess said "No THAT'S no man's land" and points to the back section:rotfl2:
So just be prepared that if you are not sitting in the main room there isn't much action going on. Our waitress was fine- a touch funny- but not over the top(and we are over the top family kind of people)

We were disappointed. The food was ok. Nothing great and we won't be going back.
We asked to be moved when we got there and they said it would be another 40 mintues(at that point that was NOT an option)

Whispering Canyon was a blast. We went around Christmas time and we had so much fun. The food was so-so, but the entertainment was awesome! Totally a good time for all!
Would Like to go back, but have so many other places I haven't been to yet, so skipping out for now. But If I were near by I wouldn't hesitate to go there.

Definitely don't compare it to Le Cellier. Whispering Canyon is a lot of fun though, the food is good, just very different than gourmet.

We loved it. Were seated right in the middle near the front. I had the cowboy enchilada and loved it. My kids had a great time, too.

We will go back next time!

We ate there over the Christmas Trip and loved the food. We all did the skillet and it was yum. But were country folk and meat and taters go a long way :)

Now mind you we did not go there for the entertainment factor as we had them hold down the hoot at our table because my sons are autistic and take things too personal. It was fun to engage in other ppls fun though.

This is one of only two restaurants that we will never, ever return to for any meal. Over Thanksgiving, we waited for more than an hour before we even had food. The service was horrendous and the food was barely mediocre. It was so awful that our entire meal ended up not being deducted from our DDP. I had booked it for my young nephews but it was just a flop.
