Thoughts on this CBR bus strategy...

I know someone through IG that recently stayed at the pirate rooms at CBR. They mentioned that the pirate rooms were the last stop on the bus loop, so rather than get on a stuffed bus (after waiting) they would just walk to Jamica (I believe it was Jamica) and get on the bus there, at the first stop. Has anyone ever done this or is it worth a try? We're a party of 8 including a stroller - how long is the walk? I wouldng mind walking if it guaranteed us a spot on the bus.

I wouldn't do it. The buses come by often enough that to me it isn't worth the extra hassle. Just get on the bus at the stop nearest to your room.

I agree with @maxiesmom. Doing this would be a huge waste of time with zero benefit. The only time that Trinidad South is the last stop picked up is during the morning and evening rushes when going to AK, DHS or Epcot. During these times and for these parks one bus will serve half the resort (Jamaica, Aruba, then Barbados) and an entirely separate bus will service the other half (Martinique, OPR, Trinidad North then Trinidad South). So when that does happen the bus you'll be getting on last will only have about half the people it normally would. They don't do this split bus route for MK because they use the extra long articulating buses. When not using the split bus route the order of pick up depends on which entrance the driver decides to use. When using the side entrance the order is:

Jamaica
Aruba
Barbados
Martinique
OPR
Trinidad North
Trinidad South

When the driver decides to use the main entrance the order is:

Martinique
OPR
Trinidad North
Trinidad South
Jamaica
Aruba
Barbados
