Hello,
I'm finally going again, solo, 3-4 weeks after I'm fully vaccinated, Sun June 6-Sat June 12. Staying at ASMo in a preferred room for various reasons- like having no indoor hallways, don't have to rely on an early Skyliner to get early access to DHS (otherwise I would absolutely stay at Pop again), same room style that I loved at Pop in 2018, central bus location, etc. It just so happens to be the cheapest.
Plane scheduled landing is 11:18 am at MCO, taking DME. Should be in a park around 1PM or a little earlier/later.
No plans to go to Epcot. Just MK, AK, HS. Haven't been since before TSL opened.
No indoor dining except in hotel room. That means no ADRs because I'm not doing Tony's.
Priorities for each park are:
HS: Slinky, MMRR, ROTR, Smuggler's Run, Alien SS, and ToT. Want to try Ronto Roasters, Cookie Num Nums, and the new style Carrot Cake Cookie.
AK: Na'vi, Kilimanjaro Safaris, Everest, and the trails. Want to eat at Sa'tuli Canteen again.
MK: 7DMT, Peter Pan, IASW, HM, BTMRR, Splash, Pirates, Magic Carpets (Am I crazy or what? I like how you can tilit it up and down unlike AO or Dumbo. No one seems to mention this- it's NOT the same ride!), Mermaid, and Mad Tea Party. Will be reriding Splash- at least once a day I'm there. Must have more Dole Whip.
Draft Reservations:
Sun: MK. I figure I can get several rides done here in the 5+ hours I have. AK would only be a few hours. HS I might not make the 1pm drop for ROTR and who knows which group a 7am drop would put me in- might be before I even get to Florida. Plus there's not nearly as many rides to absorb crowds and I'd be unlikely to find anything with a reasonable wait until an hour or two before close.
Mon: HS. Should be able to get everything done easily including ROTR if I'm lucky.
Tues: AK. Should be able to get everything done here easily as well.
Wed: MK again. Cleanup from Sunday plus more Splash.
Thurs: HS for another chance at ROTR in case there's a problem Monday plus any rerides. Can always hop later.
Fri: This is the wildcard. I was thinking HS in case I want rerides or somehow lose out on ROTR the previous two days. Can always hop later, or perhaps switch to AK if there's availability.
Sat: AK as it opens the earliest generally and I can get rerides or just explore before my last few hours. Or I can just sleep in. MDE will probably leave around noon.
Thoughts, particularly on the Friday? TIA.
