Thoughts on just how quick the moderates will fill with free dining

We have decided that we will hopefully return next year to Disney in September and we are hoping for free dining. Even though this years free dining has yet to be released, I feel as though it will be what was offered in the latter months of last year with the free dining being tiered. I just wonder if the moderate resorts will fill much faster this year IF this comes in place with the tier system. I would imagine that POR would fill the quickest with the ability to have five people in one room. But you never know, they may release the same promo as previous years. Any thoughts?

I hadn't thought about it that way but I would tend to agree that if FD is on that tier system, then the mods might fill much faster than in previous years. We have decided to stay at CBR regardless but I will be online booking at 7am the 1st day we can just incase

You can always make a reservation with deposit now and apply free dining to it later, or cancel if you don't get free dining.

Disenynewman , I don't blame you. I do think earlier booking may be becoming more widespread if this indeed does become the new free dining norm.

At some resorts, the less popular ones, this would'nt matter. (I've done that) But the others that book quickly, it may make less FD packages available there, as Disney would'nt have as many rooms to fill there.
