Thoughts on Jock Lindsay's

hey, I love the theme'ing of Jock Lindsay's, I was wondering what people think of the food and drink fare offered

I haven't had the food, but the drinks are good. My favorites are the cool headed monkey and bedtime story.

I also haven't had the food, but really enjoyed the atmosphere! I had the cool headed monkey as well, which was good. However, my parents and I thought they watered down their drinks (which might just have been the particular bartender at the time). I'd definitely go back though. It also wasn't as crowded as Trader Sams (which I also love!)

The food is actually really good. It's one of my must-dos for a quick meal in DS.

Both the food and drinks are decent - not GREAT but not horrible either. My family stops by at least once a trip.

Love the atmosphere but not the drinks. My cocktail was definitely watered down & a poor value. Would go back again for a basic beer but will save my $ for Trader Sam's creations.

I agree. The drinks were just ok and the food selection is minimal and we didn't think was all that good. Much prefer Trader Sam's!

Mostly - although there's not going to be as much for the younglings to eat and do. It's definitely more of a lounge than a restaurant.

I agree with the PP. It usually opens around noon so early would be an OK time to go if you had a child who was excited about Indiana Jones and he/she might enjoy some of the memorabilia on the walls for a half hour or so while you had a drink. Like most bars, it gets rowdier and more adult later into the evening.
