I work as an assitant for the music departments on fridays for 2 schools in the district.

Yep, that's it. I have a huge chip on each shoulder because I'm taking someone to task for the racist crap she wrote. Oh, yeah. I think all white people are racist. I can't even begin to tell you how The Man has held me back.

Many of the people disgusted by your comments agree with you about the problems with ILLEGAL immigration. This isn't an issue of disagreeing with you on the debate and picking on you. This is people disgusted with some of the comments you've made on THIS thread. Even people who agree with you on other points of discussion. That HAS to say something to you.

I am truly on the fence when it comes to Illegal Immigration. I flip-flop back and forth and am currently searching my heart and my mind to solidify the way I really feel about this issue. I have to tell you that the OP did absolutely nothing to sway my opinion. It is full of such vitriolic hatred it was really hard for me to read. I literally had to come back and read it a second time just to make sure it was as I thought.

The one thing I can add to the discussion is this: It is easy to hate and dismiss a people when you dehumanize them. The immigrants in the OP are not portayed as people. They are made to be vicous animals.
