Thoughts on Express after 4 annual pass

I see the express after 4 annual pass is about $200 more for the 15 months. We will at least get 2 trips in. Do you think the express after 4 is worth it?

Last year, we went to universal for a week and did one night at a premier to get 2 days of express pass, but that was a little over $200. With my family of 2, we would pay $400 extra for the express after 4.

Should we get the cheaper passes and just do one night at premier and do no express our other days, or do you find the after 4 passes useful?

It depends on the park hours. I got it one year. I usually travel during the slower times when the parks closed 6:00-7:00 pm and decided I prefer to go the Premier resort route.

I am struggling with the same question. Keep in mind the after 4 is ride once.

As the PP said if the parks close at 6 that is only two hours.
During HHN you might get an hour.
So when you go is a factor.

Other question is will you stay till close.
If you leave the parks for a drink or dinner then that's a factor

I feel like one night at a premium gets you two pays of unlimited and its much more enjoyable.

would like to hear from others that have used the benefit.

Pre-covid I loved having a premier pass. During high crowd times, the parks were open later (8 or 9pm) and we would try to get one ride on each qualifying attraction. Because you do still wait with Express, we were okay with skipping our non-favorites if needed. During low crowd times, it was the same story, getting one ride through Express on all our favorites before the early close.

I don't think we know enough about crowds and wait times to predict what to expect in a month from now much less a year. When it's time for me to renew, I will keep Premier if I have the cash.

HTH :)

I didn’t think about it but it also depends on how you like to do the parks. In my youth I probably would have used it more often. Nowadays I need a pretty decent break between Hulk and Spider-Man 🥴
