I've found a price I am reasonably (!!!!) happy with for summer hols...santa fe and Cheyenne being the same price and Davy C 200 more. I am happy to stay at either hotel, staying at both many times before but DH quite likes the idea of DCR, I'm not sure!! We are a family of four, kids are 3 and 8 and we would be driving, it is a mon to fri stay. thanks in advance!!

Oh you'll love it! Seperate room/s for the children and the actual site is great for kids. You can even BBQ there :)

We really enjoyed our stay at DCR. I like the Center Parcs feel it has and the pool complex is nice too. Lots of nice playing areas and a decent restaurant.

At that time of year you can enjoy a barbeque on the verandah too. Easy to cater for yourself or if the kids are in any way fussy. A short trip to the huge Auchan supermarket and you can stock up cheaply on croissants, pain au chocolat etc for breakfast and as the fridge was big, we bought lots of snacks and cold drinks to chill and take in to the parks with us each day - saves lots of money.

How much time will be spent in the room compared to in the parks? Personally, I like the Cheyenne... ;) What about SL pricewise for the same dates?

Do you really like Cheyenne ?! I had no idea :lmao:

I think we would have a bit if time relaxing tbh and I like the idea of the pool.

Thanks for the replies everyone, did you all stay in the standard cabins?

In this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZgSGFElv5GA , the 1st picture you see off the inside of a cabin is the standard, all pics that follow are the premium. On the plus side, the latter has the veranda, a larger fridge freezer, 4 hobs instead of 2, and air con which is :thumbsup2 in the summer. On the other hand, the standard has a sofa bed (instead of a very narrow bench 'sofa' attached to the wall), a bath & shower (premium has 2 showers), feels more spacious, and has more of a traditional cabin feel to it.

I wouldn't recommend the breakfast now it's no longer included in the price :sad2:
