Just got back. AWESOME !!! The animation (CG) will blow you away. The color schemes are just incredible. Very funny.

Ellen DeGeneres is hysterical !!!

Reviews here in NY were very favorable. The NY Times liked it a lot, and the NY Post gave it four stars and they are right on !!!

Cant wait to go again.

They also showed the "Brother Bear" (think that was the name. I know the name has been changed since we saw some of the initial drawings at MGM)

Looks very promising.

Our theater didn't show the Brother Bear trailer strangely enough. It did show the next Pixar release though and also the Sinbad movie which looks interesting. I'm looking forward to Brother Bear.

I thought Ellen was wonderful. I've never enjoyed her more than in this movie.

This is the first movie I remember being sold out when I tried to buy tickets, we had to get tickets for a later show.

I'm really looking forward to The Incredibles next year. :)

what can i say except that we loved it. it has now become one of my all time favorite disney movies. i can't wait to see it again and to buy it on DVD

Finding Nemo was great. I think the Incredibles will be even better though!

Anyway, I thought the movie was awesome, as is the standard from Pixar. The flow of the story reminded me a bit of Pinocchio (even without being swallowed by a whale) in that it sort of went from bit to bit. And once again, Pixar is the master of the never-ending-climax-scene-that-just-when-you-think-it's-over-our-heroes-find-themselves-in-trouble-yet-again!!!

They do it in every movie, and build it up SO MUCH that then end is just so darn satisfying, you can't walk away unhappy!

Our little theater/cafe was sold out for every show. That NEVER happens. I have many adult friends, without kids, that went out to Nemo as their date film. One friend who never goes to the movies (always rents) took his wife. This movie is going to do really really well. By the way...my family loved it.

OK, I have been wanting to say that for a couple of days! Finding Nemo was great! I still can't believe how realistic the water looked. There was lots to enjoy for kids and adults alike (another standard for Pixtar films). Our theatre in Livonia, MI was showing it on multiple screens, and I heard that every show was sold out.

Our seven year old daughter has been looking forward to seeing Nemo for quite some time. Needless to say, she was not disappointed. She wants to go with her Grandmother next weekend.

One word, awesome. My family loved it and will more than
likely pay to see it again.

Myself, DH, best friend/cousin, 2 son's, 2 neices and one nephew all went on Saturday morning.

WE LOVED IT!!!!!!
I can't wait to see it again. We would have gone last night but I had a sore throat and was feeling uuggy.
But I highly recommend it and I believe strongly that this is now my favorite Disney movie.;)

It was a HIT!! My only issue with the showing was that at the early movie which was filled with little ones, they showed a very scary preview to POC, which I'm sure will have to be PG-13. My DD had to sit through a very long, scary preview with her eyes closed. I don't care how much Disney wants to make money, that was very inappropriate for the audience and the time. Just MHO.

I also thought that ellen did GREAT!!!! I loved that movie and also think it is my new fqavorite movie ever! I just loved Dorie so much! It was a hoot!

It was just OK. My son liked it, my daughter said that was just ok, than again any cartoon for her is ok. Did not think it was in the same league as Monsters, which we loved. May be it was a different movies that we saw, but my 7 year old daughter was complaining that only female character was koo-koo.

My whole family loved Nemo. I know it is a hit because Monday was our last day of school, and all the 2nd graders in my daughter's class were knocking heads and yelling "noggin" like the sea-turtle-dude. Teacher was confused and I told her she best go see the film...

How often do you go to a movie where you laugh out loud so many times? The movie also made me cry; it was very touching in it's portrayal of the heartbreak of being a parent!

I thought Ellen D stole the show. "Ellen's Energy Adventure" is my daughter's favorite at Epcot. I can remember (pre-Ellen) when you had to sleep through "Universe of Energy" to get to see the dinos... Ellen breathed so much life back into that attraction and she was great in Nemo... Really, all the actors were wonderful!

We are waiting for the local drive-in to get it so we can go again!

We just saw Nemo today and we all thought that it was "just okay." It isn't as funny or clever as the Toy Story movies and not as good as Bug's Life or Monsters Inc.
That being said, we did think that it was worth the admission price...just not a "wow" movie like the other Pixar releases.

I thought that it was a little too intense for the kids, (many times during the movie you could hear quite a few kids crying) and not really all that funny. Ellen is good as Dory, but in Toy Story you had six or seven characters as funny as Ellen. I also didn't see the need for Nemo to have a "gimp" fin in the movie...they could have just had him be a little kid who triumphs in the end. I don't see the reason for the gimp fin. (Except for it's "Lassie hurt paw" effect.)

I also thought that the whole premise of the movie, that dad was being too protective, didn't work because the thing that got Nemo in all the trouble in the first place happened because dad wasn't protective ENOUGH.

I don't know, it just kind of depressed me and there weren't enough laughs.

I know that it will make a lot of money and I know that there will be better PIXAR movies in the future. Hopefully, Disney will be the studio that gets to release them!

Roy

P.S. A telling moment, when I asked my 3 year old if she would like to have a Nemo stuffed toy in the Disney Store, she said "No thanks....can I have a Tinkerbell doll instead?!"
Ah, there ain't nuthin' like the classics!

We loved it. Saw it with two friends (we are all adults with no kids) at an 11:30 AM show. It was mobbed. Lots of little ones but only two infants were fussy. Everyone applauded at the end.

As we left, we saw an unbelievable line for the next showing.

If you did not stay for all the credits, go see it again.

We thought it was great. I went with my two sisters and their 4 kids (age 2 to 4). The kids all loved it and were never scared and they never cried. I did think it was great....but I like Monsters, Inc better. Just my opinion.

JUst saw Nemo again today (desperate stay-at-home Mom trying to keep evil siblings happy). We enjoyed it as much the 2nd time. I did force everyone to stay thru the credits, and we saw the movie characters swimming about. I did not, however, see Mike Wazowski. Didn't I read here that he swims by? He did not... did I somehow miss him? The last thing I saw was the light-up fish get the tables turned on him...

We saw Nemo the first day it was released....I thought it was great....the loved it....We can't wait to bring Memere to see it!
