I love going to WDW in Sept., love the MNSSHP, the weather is a little bit hot but tolerable for a WI girl, love low crowds. I was only able to get vacation for Nov 1-10th, that is when we are going to DW.

I'm just not that excited, we talk about WDW as a family all the time. We are going to surprise the kids. I would tell anyone to go to DW but right now I'm not feeling it.

We are going during Jersey week, the marathon, the first X-mas party and the first Osborn lights. These are all first for me. I just wonder how busy it is really going to be. I don't want to be annoyed since we are used to Sept crowds. Since we have never been to the Xmas party we were going to go but the only party is the first one which I read was busy and sells out. Then there is only 1 day we can see the Osborn lights if we go to the Xmas party. Compared to the halloween party the xmas one sounds a bit lame. We love dressing up as a family and tick or treating, the parade and fireworks are awesome.

We have children with medical problems so DW is kind of our escape each year. I am just having a hard time planning even what days to do each park with crowds, food and wine, x-mas party and Osborn lights. I just keep looking at the days saying "we can't plan this park due to...". A few of our days are listed as light crowd then moved to moderate to wall to wall during the weekend. So, during the weekend I was thinking AK and HS.

Anyone else go in the past during Jersey, F&W, Marathon, first X-mas party and first Osborn light? What was it like because right now I'm just overwhelmed just picking park days. Not to mention the $ to fly/resort/park passes when I'm not feeling it.:confused3

I would love to change our dates but I can't!

Last year my sister went during that week (I went the week after) she said it was a little more crowded that week but nothing like you would see in the summer time. It will definitely get crowded over marathon weekend but that's normal. The weather is great during that time, not as hot as Sept.

This is my favorite time to go. Nov 1st you have the last MNSSHP which was very uncrowded last year. Then you still have Food and Wine going on. All the fall breaks seem to be over, too. Jersey schools aren't officially off until the 6th and 7th (most of them).

The pools are uncrowded and it is a good time to swim.

It is a great time to go.

Looking at eadywdws crowd calendar your week doesn't look too bad. Definitely leave ak and hs for the weekend. Mk and epcot look good for during the week. It's true that the official jersey days are the 6&7 the only reason that whole week is somewhat crowded is that most parents will pull there kids out of school the mon, tues, and wed of that week. We're going to try Sept next year,so how did you like it? I have been during the 4th of July so I'm hopeing it's better crowd wise. I'm expecting the heat so I guess I will ride kali river rapids for the first time ever. Never wanted to do it in November.

Nov. 1 - 10 are our days too! I am a first-timer so can't help you there, but I used the EasyWDW crowd calendar to pick my park days and am pretty satisfied with our plan. You are right - AK and HS during marathon weekend. I was actually really excited about the idea of getting to see the Osborne Lights and to try out F&W on a weekday! I think it's going to be a great time.

We're going Nov 1-11 so we'll be right there with you :goodvibes

In 2012 we took our first trip during the same week. We had nothing to compare it against, but I thought the crowds were fine. The weather was PERFECT and I loved getting a little bit of Christmas in.

We wanted to see the lights & do the Xmas party... we spent 1.5 hours getting from DHS after the first lighting over to MK. That was the only time during the trip that I was frustrated with the crowds. However, we stayed in MK until the park closed and we had plenty of time to ride everything we wanted multiple times.

We went back last December to do the party again --we LOVE it!

Sadly there is no Halloween party on 11/1. We were specifically arriving that night so we could go to the last party ... thanks a lot Disney for changing it this year :(

You'll be fine. You guys will have a great time!

We went this past year Nov 9-16 the first party was Nov 7 and the Osborn lights started when we were there and the 2nd party. Also it was Marathon weekend and the 10th I think was the final F&W day also Veterans day was on that Monday which gave a lot of people a 3 day weekend. And I might be wrong but I think we caught the tail end of Jersey week. It was awesome. We followed the recommended parks and just went with it. We did avoid world showcase the last day of F and W. It was a great trip we usually go in Feb or mid May before the summer crowds hit. Nov was so awesome we are going back this year too. Hang in there I have a special needs son plus just had a baby in Jan. and a 4yr old princess having issue with no longer being the baby Some days I am just to exhausted to plan stuff for Disney I think because I wish it was closer to being here than it is. Trust me the lights are not to be missed it is awesome also the snow they blow during it if you haven't seen it snow at Disney is a treat. Plus your resort might be getting their decorations up and MK will be decorated for Christmas. You and your family will be making new memorys that is all that matters!!! Have a blast.

Count us in for Nov 1-8 too! We also always go in September, and this is our first November trip. I am sad to be missing the Halloween party and no so sure we will spring for the Christmas Party, but I really was to see the the lights at DHS! I too am worried about going at this time and I am not too thrilled about our resort choice (CBR). Sounds like it might not be too bad of a week to go. Does anyone know how the weather in November is compared to the beginning of September. How much cooler? I am at a total loss about what we will need to pack.

Count us in for Oct 27- Nov 6, we are also worried about the crowds! The hotels and restaurants seem so much more crowded this year than it was last year when we went middle of November.

The weather in November is wonderful. Mid 70 to mid 80. Night time was little cooler. Follow easywdws crowd calendar and you should be fine. This is my favorite month to go but our next vacation will have to be in September before my son starts college.

We are going Nov 3-6 for F&W. I think the weather will be nice...warm but not ungodly hot like Sept. We have been in Sept too and even though it's hot, we love it in Sept due to the very low crowds. Nov 1-10 will be more crowded than Sept but we have been Easter, July 4th and Christmas and if we can handle that we surely can handle Jersey week :thumbsup2. I'd just advise not to go to Epcot on Friday night or Saturday...maybe go during the week. The Osbourne lights are at HS and I'd do those over the MVMCP...just my opinion. My SIL swears by the MVMCP but we found we can easily do all the rides at MK with EMH and the free cookies and hot chocolate is not worth the cost for the party tickets. Plus we saw the Xmas parade and fireworks on a regular night at MK (though I think that's just Xmas week) for free.

We went during that time frame in 2012 and 2013. The benefit to us was being able to go to the last Halloween Party which was at the very beginning of November and seeing the Halloween decorations. Then, we were able to hit the first Christmas Party and see the Osborne Lights.
