I'm thinking of making a dinner reservation for our final night and I can't decide where to go. What are your favorites along the monorail resort line or in the Magic Kingdom? I'm thinking maybe Skipper Canteen, Chef Mickey or Crystal Palace. I am really conflicted about paying $60 per person for a buffet though. We've done O'Hana and really liked it, but I'd like to try some place new.

Thoughts? Favorites I should try? Places you'd avoid (looking at you Tony's)...Thanks!

Right now I have BOG dinner but I just got and ADR for arrival day so I'm debating on what to do on our last night. GF cafe is on my radar since we will be at the MK that night. We're staying away from buffets due to the price.

Of the three you mention, I would do Skipper's. In fact, that is our go-to in MK at this point. I'm with you. I don't want to spend $60 per person on a buffet! Skipper's has a fun, yet understated atmosphere and the food and service are very good. And, you will definitely NOT spend $60 per person!

I think we're gonna go with Skippers. I also like the idea of something a little more unique.

On the Monorail, thats easy. My first choice is California Grill.
Second is Narcoossees
third is Skipper Canteen

I have to say we have always had great meals at Skipper Canteen. It's nice to have some different flavors and I love exploring the different rooms.

We always schedule our last meal at either CG or Narcoosees. If I was in the MK it would be Skippers.

To be fair, We've never eaten there. Just heard bad things, so I'm scared:guilty:
You should be afraid. Its absolutely disgusting. I'd avoid at all cost. Just my opinion! :)
And i agree with you, $60 pp for a buffet is a hard pill to swallow.

My fave is The Wave at the Contemporary.
GF Cafe is also good. But the Wave is my absolute fave. Yum!
Also, I hear good things about Skippers Canteen. Why not try that? Im dying to try BOG dinner since they changed it to 2 TS credits. (i'd pay cash). I still cant get an ADR though. :(
