Hi all,
We are previous DVC members and have been to WDW many times. This December, we are bring my whole family along for some Disney fun. We are a group of 8 adults, 3 teens, 3 kids and a 2 yr old. This is the first trip for 2 of the adults and 2 of the little kids. We're trying to keep costs down, but do want to spring on one or two nice dinners on grounds for the whole group. Definitely want to avoid the chef table experiences at that would be a HUGE bill. Thoughts?
Thanks a bunch,
Tara

we have only gone with 12 and it was hard at times to get adrs

we like to do dinner at liberty tree tavern for an inpark dinner
we also do olivas at okw

we also like raglin roads at dtd

We did a party that size at 1900 Park Fare (dinner) & also at the Biergarten (dinner). Both were fantastic!!

At 1900, they sat us at adjacent tables, but at the Biergarten they sat us all at one large table :)

I would suggest that you select a buffet, and make the reservation(s) for right at (or within 15 minutes of) opening time. It may require more than one reservation. At that time can can easily seat a group of that size. Since you are more than six months out, you have time to decide which you want to do.,

I would try to get ressies for Crystal Palace breakfast at 8:05 am at MK and Biergarten for lunch at Epcot on another day. No HUGE cost involved with either meal, and both experiences should be a lot of fun for your group.

We were a party of 13, 9 adults, 2 teens, 2 kids. We made a point to eat together everyday since we enjoy different things. I found even if we all couldn't fit at 1 table, we were able to sit next to each other. We were able to all sit together at T-Rex and Tusker House for breakfast, loved both. Crystal Palace and Le Cellier were fun also for us. I thought it worked really well and even with 2 or 3 ADRs to fit us at the same restaurant, the CM's were helpful with seating us close by each other.
