Well fans, what do YOU think?

I am a HUGE Harry Connick, Jr. fan, BUT...

  1. I was surprised that they actually went through with the wedding.
  2. I am surprised that the writers would mess this much with the chemistry of the show.
  3. I am really confused about what they will do. I'm sure the good doctor has a nice place far away from Will and Grace's apartment. Will Grace move in there? If so, how will the spontaneous living room stuff continue?
  4. Will HC, Jr. be a regular fixture, or will they just refer to him and he will show up every once in awhile?
  5. What was UP with Jack and Karen MAKING OUT like crazy at the wedding??!!! Totally bizarre...

I'm confused too. My husband had a theory that this whole season so far was a dream/hallucination since Grace bumped her head and after the wedding she was going to wake up and realize none of this happened.

I don't know how it can still be "Will & Grace". Maybe they should just have Will meet someone too and then end the show with everyone lives happily ever after.

I keep thinking Harry COnnick Jr (Dr Leo) is going to be sent to a foreign country to be a doctor (as a once in a lifetime thing) and will be back once in awhile.
I'm hoping HC Jr will be a regular though!

I agree with you on all points. I'm not crazy about the whole Jack and Karen thing. I loved all the out-takes at the end though, they were hysterical. I still think this is one of the most consistently funny shows on TV. Having Grace married may be the kiss of death for the show though.

I like the "dream" theory. Or, it could turn out that nothing "Leo" has told Grace is true and she leaves him. I tend to lean towards the "dream", because of the Jack/Karen thing. Did anyone think it odd that Will's parents were not at the wedding? After all, they've known Grace for years. I think it is time for Will to have a decent relationship with someone. I mean, geez, we've already gone through Grace & Nathan, now Grace & Leo. And really, the way they've portrayed Grace's Mom in the past, I'm surprised they didn't have her burst into song at the wedding with some show tunes - of course, if they have a breakup Debbie Reynolds could start off with "I'm Gonna Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair!"

This was a big topic for us last night. I was telling my DH that they would get married but then her DH will have to go to another country to do DR work....(this was BEFORE they said he had done that on the show). My DH kept asking me how I knew that??? ha ha....I just guessed that it would make the story line work.

here are some of my points:
1. them having a baby together was unfair to Grace, I did not like it. a gay man and a single woman aren't a couple...they deserve their own lives (yes I know this only a tv show);)
2. getting married adds new story lines and he can only be around when they need him (during sweeps) I think the story lines have been boring. jmho
3. Jack and Karen have done kooky things like that before. I don't think its anything.
4. Grace's life has been pretty lonely if you ask me. She is always getting hurt. I was glad they made it work for her.

anyway.......my 2 cents.......:smooth:

Funny - the "maybe it's all a dream since she got knocked out in the first episode - theory. I actually had thought of that too.

But, come on, honestly? Do you think that the writers of this respected and very funny show would think they could get away with something that "Dallas" never quite recovered from in its prime? Personally, I don't think so.

Like I said, I do like HC, Jr., and Grace DOES deserve some happiness. I just hope it doesn't kill the show...

I agree with all of you! I think that Harry Conick, Jr. is doing a wonderful job - he is very funny! And I am happy that Grace found some happiness. I loved the scene where Will and Grace were dancing and talking on the roof, before the wedding ceremony - I thought that that was very sweet! I just hope that Grace being married doesn't ruin the chemistry and relationship between her and Will. And I am wondering about their future living arrangements, too. Will Leo move in with Will and Grace? Will Jack give up his apartment and move in with Will? Will Karen and Rosario move in with Will, since she's been living out of her limousine??? I really enjoyed the show - even though I'm also surprised that they went through with the wedding - and I loved the outtakes show afterwards, too! By the way, my cousin plays one of the gay married friends - Joe - who are friends with Will and Grace and are semi-regulars on the show! He was "at the wedding", last night! :)

Im always very sappy, but I didn't want the wedding to go through, I want things to be like they always were! Im voting for the dream theory, I like that idea! ;)

Waaaah, I missed the episode last night, I fell asleep! :(

Thanks to Lucky4Me for filling me in though.

I love the dream idea!

Surely Harry Connick Jr. has not signed on as a regular castmember, so something will have to happen to him.

I'm ready for Will to have a relationship as well. He and Grace both deserve some happiness, however, I don't want them to have a baby together.

By the way, my cousin plays one of the gay married friends - Joe -

Cool! Is he the one that kept saying how their marriage didn't count? I don't know them by name.

I want Will and Grace to have a child together. they would make
wonderful parents(except for the anxiety). Jack and Karen are
so hilarious!!! A dream-is this "Dallas?" However they work
the humor into the scripts, I'm all for it. The show is always
funny.
