Wow, you're getting all philosophical on us this morning!

I've had a very blessed life. Sure there have been plenty of low points, things I wasn't sure I'd actually live through, but I did. Looking back, those are the moments that have shaped me the most, the times where I've learned quickly, have gotten stronger and built my relationship with God.

I'm glad for those moments, thankful even......but I sure as heck don't want to go through them again! :lmao:

No, I'm good right where I am, thank you.

I'm pretty happy, no make that very happy with my life. I wouldn't change a thing. Sometimes those low points make you stronger.

There isnt an option for what I would do - I would live over my childhood - I was miserable to my parents - I regret that but Im happy with who I am now.

There might be some individual episodes I would have done differently, but to do any of them over might ultimately leave me in a different place than I am now. And I am very happy with my life! It's like those Back to the Future movies, where if you go back and change one little thing it can totally disrupt future events. For instance, if I had eaten something different for breakfast the morning of the day I met my wife, I might have had an upset stomach and not gone to the wedding that evening where we met! So, I wouldn't change a thing.

Maybe I've given this too much thought?? :lmao:

I don't have the energy to go back - besides I'd just get hit by different bullets.....

Happy with the way things are. I am not one for change. Except for the baby coming but that will be fun change.:)

I think if you don't have any regrets..then you haven't lived much of a life.
Hey..gotta pull something positive out the stuff that hits the fan.:sad2:

That being said..there's always some pain that someone could have been spared had we known then what we know now. Hindsight being twenty/twenty and all that.
So, yes..there are certain things I'd like to do over, and others that I wouldn't change for world.

Its a good thing that I was sent to be me, I doubt anyone else could have pulled it off, much less with this much style......

Everything I have been through has made me who I am now and I gotta say I am pretty good !

Id love to go back with the knowledge I have now...not real sure Id change anything....maybe a few things, but not too much.....but I sure would see things different now than I did then, and I think that would make it even better.

I'm pretty happy, no make that very happy with my life.

I would agree with that after almost 61 years now:thumbsup2

I wouldn't change a thing.

I disagree somewhat and wish I could change some things I did in the past, but hey that's life :rotfl:

Sometimes those low points make you stronger.

I agree with that :goodvibes

I'll keep what I got since given a second chance I might mess it up worse than I did the first time around :rotfl2: Also, I would be paranoid trying to raise a child today and that is what would scare me to death in today's times and how the country is going:scared1:

This is exactly what I said!

Oh the things I could have done, should have done and SHOULD NOT have done!

I am very thankful for the person I am today, but there is alot that could be improved upon with a little redo....:thumbsup2

There is no way I would want to go back to my teens much less redo my twenties. However, I would like a do-over on some of my financial decisions. Like I sold my house north of DC just before housing prices went through the roof (back in the late 90's). I messed up on that one but oh well . . .

I would like to go back with the knowledge. There are some small things I would do differently, but not much. It would not change the big picture, just some things I really should have done when I had the chance to and didn't listen to my "little voice."

There are a couple of things I would change if I could go back....

1) I would have postponed getting married until I was older. I don't regret the decision of who I married, just that 19 was too young to get married. My mother kind of "pushed" the wedding thing because my dad's health was so frail - she wanted my dad to have the joy of walking me down the aisle - and for me to experience that joy.

2) I would have pursued one of two degrees/careers - Performing Arts (music) or Psychology --- or figured out a way to combine the two.

3) If I had a re-do with a retention of my current knowledge, I would have made sounder financial decisions.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with the way my life has gone, but I made some quick major decisions (mostly large purchases) based on emotions that I would love to go back and change. Don't we all, though!

The only thing I would change would be the 1st thing I married.. I mean woman i married... wait maybe i was right the 1st time.... Got married after basic training to my senior year girlfriend... and she still haunts me!!
Otherwise.... I would still marry the current DW and still woulda had 6 kids. I wouldn't change anything else! Oh I mighta stayed away from all those piercings too!!:lmao:

I think the majority of us can look at our life, and not want to redo anything...'cause if we did...well, a small change could put you somewhere other than where you are right now. And i love where i'm at. . . I'm not happy with some of the 'residue' from growing up...but I love life, and life loves me! :cloud9:
