Thought you might like to see that...

Looks lovely Karen.

When I got my personalised registration number, I never even thought of getting anything associated with Disney.

Awww, Florence!!! And there was I thinking you must have M155 DVC... ;) :thumbsup2 :worship:

Actually neither did I - my DH suggested it when I could finally opt for M155. I couldn't before as it would have made my previous car seem newer than it was...

My previous one was all initials - K(me)4 RDT (hubby) but I transferred that to his car...

Awww cute! :lovestruc

Don't talk to me about transferring them.....:headache: I spent ages last week trying to get hubby's taken off his car & held. Relatively easy to do but not when it takes 5-6 weeks & the car is sold & being picked up that day. Opps!

I know it can be an absolute PITA! Luckily I was able to make the garage transfer my old one as they were the ones being antsy about closing the deal. The sales guy ended up going to the local DVLA office in person to get it sorted... ;)

Lovely plate Karen, I bet I start seeing you and Richard out and about now.

At school a woman has BE51 MUM (besi mum, best Mum?)

My dad left me the legacy of A812 (my birthday, and his) JMH (my initals)

I've used it on a few cars over the years, but now I just keep it, I must admit I got very fed up with people constantly saying where they saw me and saw my car etc. I prefer to be incognito now!

Thats good. We got lucky in the end as a dealership bought Lee's car from us privately so no rush now....the DVLA won't speed things up & we didn't realise it took so long.

My SIL number plate is "b7tchy" - quite apt really! :lmao:

Oooh yes, that could be annoying... ::yes:: Tho' I don't think I know enough peeps locally for that plus I don't go very interesting places. ;) TBH the attraction for me is that I like having one I can actually remember!!! :lmao: :rotfl: :thumbsup2

I bought mine direct from DVLA, although I'm sure I didn't pay the prices they seem to be charging now!

A Google search for "personal number plate" brings up quite a few places though. :thumbsup2

Thanks David, what does your plate read?.x.

I was playing around on the DVLA site and couldn't believe it when this one was available!!! :thumbsup2 I like it coz it has a double meaning - I miss WDW and I am MISS WDW - in our house anyway... :lmao::rotfl::lmao:
Thanks Karen,we have everything crossed in our house at the moment in the hope that Hubby passes his practical(when he takes it soon).I would love to be able to get something for him as a pressie :thumbsup2.x.

Now I want to change my stoopid DISname to M155 WDW!!!! It was a little embarrassing at the recent meet when I was asked "So Karen, why CustardTart???" and I didn't have an answer other than "Er good idea at the time...?" :headache: :sad2: :confused3

Mine is MO54LMW and there's a bit of a long story behind why I went for that. A couple of years before she died my Mum was lucky enough to get into the chair on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. The recording was split across two days and at the end of the first day when she was on £16,000 she promised me that if she got to £32,000 she would buy me the Yaris that I had wanted for a couple of years. As it happened she walked away with the £16K the following day and we had a very nice holiday instead. Fast forward a couple of years and on the day of her funeral a cheque landed on our doormat, which was a payout of a life insurance policy that we didn't know my Mum had and happened to be almost exactly the price of a brand new Yaris, which we went out and bought the next day. In recognition of the fact that my Mum had finally bought me the car I had always wanted the plate is:

Had she been a year younger the numbers would have been her age when she died.

Maybe if you asked nicely the DISGods could do that for you. :confused3

:rotfl2: That sounded terrible but she really is - hence the reason I don't see my brother & 4 nephews very often. :guilty:
It's a shame when things like that happen .x.

Soooooo cool! mine is.... if you haven't already guessed T16 GEM! :)
:thumbsup2. I never guessed, and i am always wondering what it could mean-like alot of the names on here.x.

Definitely a cool gift... :goodvibes
No doubt not so 'cool' prices though .x.
