Ok, so I've been thinking about the waitlist thread about people that have been able to call and get a room when MS wasn't calling them about their waitlist. They sometimes get the story "we were just about to call you"...
So here's the thought - imagine there are 50 MS operators. My guess is they have like 5 of those set aside to deal with calling and dealing with waitlists that come up when other members cancel/change their ressies.
This would explain why you can get a room when you call in - one of those 5 operators hasn't gotten a chance to lookup and call a member on the waitlist for that room that just came open. Given a little more time, a member on the waitlist would have been called on that room, but you got it first.
I have too much time on my hands to think up these things.
