i need some help from whom have stayed at the resorts mentioned above. Planning the very first WDW trip in Jan 2018 with my two girls, 5 & 3. Planning doing MK 2 days and 1 day of each other park. We are going to take it slow, probably will go to the attractions that my daughter's are interested in, AKA, all the princess related attractions, more than those gear towards adults.
First thing first, we are planning stay at Contemporary due to the location, however, I just read the review of the royal room at POR, which I am sure my girls will enjoy the theme of the room. Here is the concern, the review mentioned that the POR is a spread resort that might be hard to get around with small children. The multiple stops bus route is not favorable to children either. So, should we stick with contemporary the whole time, or 2 nights at POR with 5 & 3 yo are doable? My thought so far is doing MK and Epcot on the days we stay at Contemporary, doing HS on the transfer day, and end our trip with AK. Good idea or too much hassle?
Thank you for your advice and suggestions!
