I need tips/advice on how to take a good picture.....(me being the subject) I am pooh sized and have some disabilities... I can either sit in my ECV with my kids or stand. No matter what I do I never like the picture... I have some numbness in my face so I think Im :) and I look !! I also gained alot of weight when I was  Is their a special way to stand to look slimmer? Should I do side profile? Would the pics look better if the kids sat on my lap while Im in my ECV? This is our celebration trip last time we were at disney was 3 years ago before my operation....I just want it to be perfect:love: TIA

If you have someone taking the picture for you...

Sit in your ECV and have your children get in super close, like sitting in your lap close.
Have the person taking the picture stand up higher than you, like on a step or a planter or something like that.
Then have all your faces super close, almost like they are touching, and then look at the camera.
Have the person taking the picture frame the picture really tight.

Now, having you look up will reduce any excess weight in the face and having your children close in, like they are almost sitting on your lap, will hide any excess weight of your body. Getting the frame nice and tight will also reduce the amount of 'person' you see in the image, thus making you look slimmer.

When the person taking the shot shoots down on the subject, it will automatically highlight your face/expression without adding any bulk of the body.

Also, if you stand for any photos, do not stand straight on towards the camera. It makes you look much wider than necessary.

My mom taught my sister, when she was in pagents as a teen, when standing for photos to put her hand over where her 'saddle bag' is on her thigh and it will have an added distraction and help slimline her. I never noticed her doing that before.....now that is ALL I see when I look at pictures of her.

Also, if you stand - just stand behind your children - they will be a natural barrier between you and the camera. That's what I do all the time.
