It's our first trip in 2 weeks time and finally getting round to looking at restaurants and menus online.
A lot sound a bit fussy for our children really, they prefer plainer types of food. So I was just wondering where anyone could recommend for a 3 and 6 yr old?

On our list I've got walts (it may not be open for our stay), cafe mickey for tea, inventions buffet for tea and auberge with my daughter for lunch (menu sounds dreadful but it better be worth it for the princess characters!)

If you're staying onsite, the hotel buffets generally offer great choice & value for money.

For counter service, the food at Colonel Hathi's Pizza Outpost is reasonably good, and the theming is lovely.

Thank you will check that place out.
We are staying on site at the sequoia so will consider there for maybe our first evening thinking we'll be tired after the travelling.

We stayed at SL over our Thanksgiving break and had dinner at the buffet in the hotel and were really surprised and pleased with it! DS was 10 at the time, but he's a rather picky eater. We'd certainly go there again if staying at SL. :)

I know many like Annette's, theming is entertaining for kids and they have kids options (though we weren't crazy about the food)...but it was cute and decent enough.

We go for the buffet restaurants so there will always be something the children will eat, plus you don't have to wait around from ordering your food for it to be cooked and served which can also be a good idea if you have kids eager to get back to the fun of the parks or who are tired from a busy day.

I've got 3 fussy eaters so also found the buffet restaurants to be better. Parkside Diner in Hotel NY was pretty good but was a bit pricey. Restaurant De Stars was also very good, the kids ate loads here and better value for money with Remy thrown in!
