Those with knowledge of the beds in #8532...

I know that the Murphy bed is in the livingroom but beside that and the couch bed, is there a bunkbed of some sort?

Nope. Just the murphy bed and pull-out couch in the living area and the queen bed in the master bedroom.

I stayed in 8032 which is the same layout as 8532.

In the Bedroom is a single king sized bed. It's a true king, not two singles pushed together.

In the living room is a double or maybe even queen (we didnt' use it) sleeper sofa, as well as a twin sized Murphy Bed.

There are no bunkbeds. The room sleeps five, so there would be no reason to offer bunk beds.

There were three of us in the room, TONS of space, it was so comfortable. We loved it so much we've rebooked it for back-to-back seven day cruises in October, 2004.

In September 2002, someone posted measurements for the "larger" category 3 rooms (8032, 8034, 8532, 8534). I can't find that original post but I did find the measurements. This was of interest since we're going to be in 8534 on June 28th!

Living room 18 x 16
Entrance hallway, closet, and bathroom 5 x 10
Bedroom 9.5 x 16
Walk-in closet 5.5 x 6
Dressing area 5.5 x 5
Outer bath with double sink and jacuzzi tub 6 x 7
Inner bath with toilet and shower 6.5 x 3.5
Verandah 4 x 27

Hmm for some reason the link doesn't work for me. Maybe the report got "caught" in the archiving process. I really appreciated the measurements because we had been trying all sorts of ideas to understand the differences in the cabins.

Our last two Cat 3 staterooms had the Murphy bed in the master bedroom neext to the king bed. I believe we were in 8022. We are in 8522 this trip in October and the murphy bed will be in the living room. Can you tell me where? I realized that there are some different layouts of Cat 3 but not the bed chaging so radically.

In 8522 the bed is NOT in the living area, it's in the bedroom.

It's only in 8032, 8034, 8432 and 8534 that the murphy bed is in the living area. In those rooms it is across from the dining table.
