We are going to Disney soon. In our party there is a child with Autism. He can't wait for long periods of times without getting aggitated. Who has been recently and accessed the DAS card? How does it work? Thanks for any inof. I want to be prepared.

There's a great "sticky" thread at the top of this forum with info on the DAS. The first few posts run through a lot of basic information that you might find helpful.

Here's a link to the thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3178976

He won't have to wait in the regular line if he gets a DAS.
Instead, you'll go up to the ride and the CM will write a time on his DAS card. That will be the time you can come back to get in the fastpass line.
It's so that you're waiting an equal time that others have to wait in line- for example if the line is 60 minutes long they'll say you can come back in 50 minutes.
This way you don't have to wait in the line, you can wait anywhere else outside the line.
Once it's the time they gave you, you will then get in the line but you get to go in the fastpass line which is a much shorter line and you'll ride in a few minutes, usually like 15-20 minutes.
