As a mother of two boys very much like the author's, this touched me so much. It was very beautiful, thanks OP for sharing.

OMG through Divorce I moved to FL - My 17yr son stayed back in MA to finish his senior year of HS then will be moving away to college.
Yup sure does go by in a flash - I do speak with him every/every other day though but sure do miss those hugs

This is making me sob so hard! DS is only 3, but so many times already I have looked back and asked myself how could we be so far in so short of a time. It seems like the stages of childhood are just flying by...and waaay too fast.

I miss my little boys. DH paraphrased someone when he says: "days were long, but the years flew by!"

My sons are wonderful young men married to wonderful (and lucky!) young women. But, yes, I surely miss my little boys.
