Those who went, what Thanksgiving Day and Easter eats were great?

Looking for ideas on next Thanksgiving. We are currently thinking about the LTT but don't know if MK will be an unbearable zoo? Any experiences out there with who puts on a great Thanksgiving Day? As far as this coming Easter we have a ressie for 13 at Biergarten, good idea?

My fam (7 in all) have been going at Thanksgiving for 3 years. We ate at 50PT Cafe, GF Cafe and Le Celier. Le Celier was our favorite, then GF Cafe then 50s. All had the traditional T-day dinner available, LeCelier is just the better restaurant.

I would not recommend LTT under most circumstances. On the positive side, the food is very kid friendly and the characters are adorable in their colonial costumes.

On the negative side, I believe that the servers are required to have you in and out in an hour....our server brought our salad and bread before he even took our drink order. That is fine if you want to get a lot of touring done, but I would hate to be rushed for my Thanksgiving meal.

For the same price, we had a very delicious, quiet, leisurely Thanksgiving dinner at Jiko. DDs had the special Thanksgiving plate (one adult and one kids) and it was yummy. Dh and I had fantastic scallops.

We had Thanksgiving Dinner at Kona and it was great. Only my daughter ate the turkey. The rest of us ordered off the regular menu (which was a bit different than usual). We also had a birthday cake for my son as it was his birthday on Thanksgiving. Whole meal and service were wonderful. We spent some time in MK after dinner and it was not too crowded.

We were in Epcot Thanksgiving morning and it was relatively quiet, with the usual long wait at Soaring.

A few years ago, we had dinner Thanksgiving night at CRT. It was amazing!!!! Highly recommended.

We ate at the Crystal Palace for Thanksgiving day 2007. It was very nice, much better than we expected. They had all the traditional turkey day offerings including herb roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry, sweet yams, pumpkin pie, plus a whole lot more. I also had a flame baked chicken that had the most yummy flavor, and peanut butter cake that was to die for. The kids buffet was the best food we found for kids the whole week.

we had Thanksgiving this year at Wispering Canyon Cafe....and it was awesome. They had the best smoked turkey and excellent stuffing. I can honestly say it was 10 times better than I had ever expected. This has never been my favorite place to eat but they thought of the food makes me want to go back!

I am shocked at the WCC, we just ate the dinner 2 wks. ago and were disappointed. Same with Crystal Palace, but I can see the potential for a holiday being better.
CRT for 13 people I need another mortgage.
Is Kona that good?
LTT was booked solid, that would have been fun.
Le Celier is booked for Easter but it is on the radar for next Thanksgiving.
Any other people out there fess it up.

I guess i am one of the lucky ones - i have LeCeiller booked for Easter lunch - 12:30!

I don't know what's good but I can tell you where not to go for Thanksgiving Dinner and that's the Liberty Tree. We pretty much had to beg for more trukey etc. and than they would only bring a couple of peices and it tasted like they used a turkey roll.

Thanksgiving 2006 we had reservations for Kona but ended up starving too early to go and they could not get us in earlier...so we ended up eating Chinese at Epcot.

No turkey for us that year But actually, the chinese hit the spot!

We did not like chef mickey's for easter dinner. Most of the food was cold and the service was terrible. Not sure if it was only us having issues, be we've eaten there before and had a great experience. It seemed like they didn't ahve their best workers out for Easter.
