Those who rec'd hotel upgrade code

I had rec'd the upgrade from Value to SSR in July/Aug. I was only able to get a studio room due to no availability & no matter how often I called nothing available for a 1BR.

When I checked in Sun, I asked if it would be possible to be upgraded to a 1BR & sure enough I got the upgrade w/a connecting room w/my father in law (studio). Free upgrade. So don't give up! Ask when you check in!

We are enjoying the QUIET of this resort. So much more quieter than Pop or AS resorts. It's a BIG resort which is our only issue, but we have our car & have been driving to the parks (except MK took the bus today).

Any questions regarding SSR?

I did the same thing. I called to ask about one of my other ressies and checked to see if they had any more of the 1BR's for my Sept trip for OKW - and they DID!

The CM actually did not realize that the PIN would allow 1BR...but I had her "price it out" for me and it was the same price. So she booked it!

We are super excited! It will be great to be able to cook a "real" breakfast - and the jacuzzi tub will be a treat, too!

I can only wish I could get a resort upgrade.
Unfortunately, I've downgraded my resort this year and I'm NOT happy about it. But...gotta do what I gotta do to get my Disney fix.
