For Whatever reason you can’t use gift cards loaded to Walmart pay to pay for a gift card. If you have the printed out gift card you can use it just fine but Walmart pay just doesn’t allow it. So even if you have a third party gift card and $50 or more worth of regular merchandise and a gift card balance of $50 you can’t use Walmart pay to pay with your gift card balance. The third party gift card prevents Walmart pay from being used if you have a gift card balance.Anyone have success in using Walmart Pay to buy a WalMart gift card? I tried twice this weekend and neither time it worked. This is my first experience using WalMart pay. I have $45 on it which is a combination of Savings Catcher and a $25 Swagbucks reward that I manually added to it.
First time I tried to buy a $100 WM gift card at self check out. I was using two SB gift cards (printed) and was going to use my WalMart pay. The SB printed cards worked fine like always, but it would not accept my WalMart pay. The nearby clerk knew nothing but thought I couldn't use it at self check out.
Day two: I go to a regular register and buy a few household items, plus a $50 WM gift card. I try to use my WalMart pay ($45) there and it still won't work.
Clerk: "It says your card is declined."
Me: "It's not a card, it's Walmart pay and as you can see I have funds on it."
At this point she calls a CSM because the attempt to use WalMart pay jams the whole system. We can't exit out of the transaction, there is a nice line forming behind me, and the clerk has no idea what to do. I decide I'll just pay cash and be done, but even that won't even work.
CSM: "Can you pay for this?"
Me, trying not to remain calm: "Yes, if your system would let me."
She finally clears out my transaction and I pay cash. The original clerk apologized a few times and said it was her register. This is the second time in two days I've bought a gift card with my own money instead of the SB earnings I planned to use.
Is it just me? My local WalMart? Or can I truly not buy gift cards with WalMart pay? None of the clerks seem to know.

Also found out I missed new swagcodes over the weekend. The did special ones good for only so many users (like the iSpy) that had to be entered swagbutton or mobile app. I heard the notifications go off but I didn't pay attention, oops

Thanks for the heads up- just tried searching through the blog search, then the Facebook search link and got 100 sbs! I usually only get 4 or 5, so I'm a little surprised. And excited!

So was it totally wrong that I had a split second of disappointment that it wasn't the collector bill I was looking for?
On a side note, I had tried about 10 searches while in Edge using the swagbucks web search bar, no dice. Opened up Firefox, signed in, I have it as the default search engine so I used the firefox search bar and bam, first search, search win. Again, probably a coincidence, I was probably 'due', but that's just uncanny. I did get a collector bill on Monday in Edge so it does happen, just not as often. That's the only collector bill I've gotten so far so I'm not holding out hope of completing that promo.
Most don't credit for me either, that's why I thought I'd share. 
) For me, if it involves more than 1 page of action (enter an email or zip code, click a button) it's a craps shoot if I'll get it to credit. That's why I figured I'd share what I got to work today. For me, they were all simple enter one thing get points (despite what some of the descriptions said)… so now I've probably used up all my credits for the week in one day
Wish I knew I'd have more offers.
What has seemed better for me, and it could just be coincidence, is doing Swagbucks in the Edge browser. That's the only thing I use that browser for, rewards programs, so I have nothing blocked. AFAIK (or at least remember) I'm using all the default settings in Edge. When I first started I would use a private/incognito browser window in FireFox to keep all the tracking cookies and what-not contained (that used to help back in the QuickRewards days). But the videos didn't run well like that, so I tried them Edge where they worked better and then just kept everything SB there. Hubby switches between Edge and Chrome but he doesn't do a lot of offers so I don't have much data there. (basically just what I do for him when he leaves it open and I check on his shop credits
Don't know if it matters but I usually leave the tab/window open until I see a credit and then close it. You probably don't need to leave it open for long, but just feels like if there's some type of timer or process that needs to happen to finish out the tracking, closing the tab early might stop it. Nothing terribly scientific to it though.
I also do NOT have the SB button active. It's installed on Edge but I only turn it on when I need to redeem a swagcode or do a Swago square. Occasionally if I'm doing a lot of shopping I'll turn it on just to see the sb offers, but then I'll turn it off again. Aside from the targeted surveys from it, which I know can trouble some but knock on wood they credit for me, I find the button more trouble than it's worth.

I got an email from SB with the subject line "It's time! (to earn your bonus)" and it's an offer for 300sb to complete 2 gold surveys in the next 48 hours. They're not any more specific than that, so I don't know if the 48 hour clock starts from when the email is received or it was start of business today or what. Also doesn't say it needs to be activated or anything. This appears to be separate from the AugustSurveyBonus swagup I mentioned before. I clicked through the link in the email, in case it was like those targeted to-do list bonuses, and I actually completed a survey. Now we'll see if I can get another one. (if I do I might play the lottery between that and having offers actually credit
