Those using swagbucks ???

Just redeemed 500 SB for a $5 starbucks GC - LOVE that I can combine GC on the starbucks page and just add and add to one gift card!

SB "strategy" question. My goal is the $25 paypal gc, which will go straight to our Disney fund. I'm a long time sb user, but my activity level definitely goes up and down through the years. IN the last week, I've gotten over 1500 sb thanks to tips and motivation from this thread! But my question is, do you "hold back" so your daily goal doesn't get too high or do you just go all out? I had some good luck on surveys this morning and am already past both my goals. I still have the "energy" to go for more, but I worry about busier days where it will be harder. So, do you just get as many as you can, or take breaks on good days?

I just go for it. If my second goal gets really high, what am I really missing out on? Maybe another 10-20 cents per day. But I am probably making more than that most days by aiming high anyways. As long as I made my first goal, I am generally happy whether I end up right there or I go a lot higher.

This is true.

That said, sometimes if I hit my goal early, I take my foot of the gas and "enjoy" my day without working so hard to keep on top of all things SB.

I haven't missed a 1st goal since July. As far as second goals, I try to hit them about 10x / month. My daily personal goal is 300 sb. My second goal is in the high 300s right now. If I get lucky with surveys, I hit it during the week. I generally make it both weekend days. But I don't stress about if it's 350 or 450 because I know if it's 450, it's because I'm earning a lot of sb.

I stopped paying attention to goals. I mean, I check them, but I don't really try to meet them each day. If I do, great, if not, no big deal. My goals stayed around 30-40 the entire first month and yesterday and today they are at 120 (thats because I had 2 purchases credit in the past few days). Before those credits, I never did enough to make the goal increase. Most all of my SB comes from Shop and Earn. Outside of that I earn around 200 SB per week just from the site (I don't even bother with surveys).

Regarding contacting sb for unawarded sb, I am collecting screenshots to prove I've completed tasks. On top of Wen, Gwynnie Bee and Bing, I have many "free samples" and surveys that were not awarded. After 2 weeks, should I email with all the screenshots or contact the all powerful Valerie I keep seeing mentioned on here? I don't want to over contact, but right now we are talking thousands of points and I don't want to lose them. I'm new at this and don't want to jeopardize my membership either.

Can anyone answer how long mobile strike points and Gwynnie Bee points took to be awarded? Thank you all!

I keep seeing people reference a "personal goal" that is 300+. Is this your first goal? I thought those didn't go over 120?

I think it is crap that you can get banned for asking them to follow through on their promises. Complete crap. I filled out a ticket for the Kinsa and I got a response back that it takes 7 days for Shop and Earn. The Kinsa deal is not a Shop and Earn and it says it should credit within 48 hours. I don't know if I should keep pushing the issue now, or wait.

For the shop and earn.... i have 4 purchases sitting in my "shop and earn" page, one of which took just over a month to credit. There are three others that have not credited yet and it's been over 6 weeks for two of those. If it's showing on my shop and earn page, should I feel confident that it will eventually credit, or is it possible it'll get stuck there forever? I don't want to submit a ticket for no reason if I should be confident it will eventually go through. It's 2 Target purchases and the newest one is Groupon but that's just from earlier this month so I am not worried about that yet.

Thanks to all on here for all your advice!

I have filled out a ticket if it never showed pending, but otherwise they showed up eventually.

I don't know how people meet their goals without a survey. I just tried a billion surveys with no success.

Also just tried to send a message to SB on FB through my phone and I kept getting an error.

No, that's what I aim for. It gets me $100/month. My first goal is around 100.

I don't really hold back; if you are successful those goals are just going to creep up; but like @PerfessorZ said, I may let up if I meet my goal early.
Another point you might consider is not spending your first SBs on Paypal. That costs 2500 for $25; if you are willing to get Target or Walmart gift cards instead the first one each month only costs 2200. It's a small savings for you and lots of folks on here get a store gift card for the first payout each month, then if they have enough for additional payouts, they get PayPal. Just another option for you. :)

I wouldn't stock pile your complaints with the idea of sending them all at once. When you put in a ticket to SB you have to fill out a form that includes information like what the category was (shop/surveys/watch etc..) you also have to upload the screenshot, additional info about the content and so on. Each complaint will have to be done separately so it's usually good to submit a ticket soon after the incident.

I've successfully submitted tickets for shop/earn and surveys, but have been unsuccessful in getting my Partner Surveys reinstated (which were removed after I made a complaint. :sad2: )

Just got a notification from the SwagButton or whatever it's called for a 5 minute survey for 50 SBs. That's the second one I was notified of that way today. Was only about 2 SBs from goal, but now I've surpassed it!

Do a ticket first. Usually if you haven't submitted a ticket Valerie will tell you to submit one first. She is great about answering questions and helping if you haven't been able to get help through the ticket, but she wants you to try the normal route first.
