Thanks - mine came back. Was either a very short outage or a temporary localized issue. Two accounts on two computers, though, couldn't reach, even in incognito, so I assumed the worst.

When that happens to me I check facebook because people flock there to whine and complain, then I know if it is just me or if it is site-wide. I didn't see any just now, so it was probably local.

I hear ya loud & clear. I generally avoid surveys unless either I'm desperate or somebody has posted a good review of a survey & it's on my list, too. Otherwise, it's usually a waste of half an hour to 40 minutes of my day.

But it shouldn't be to hard to get to 200 points. Make sure you visit the birthday bash page that DIS_MERI posted just before you - it shows you how many points you have for the event. If you're basing your total off SB, you'll be way off.

How do you know about survey reviews etc. And curious about your list. I like surveys do them on my lunch hour but would love to find more useful/working ones. Today I did a 25 min survey on paper towels lol. But they did say they will send me a sample and a chance for 3 more high earning surveys.

Reviews are what I read here & reddit. My list is just what surveys are available to me. If somebody says, "Survey 215053 was about toothpaste, only took 5 minutes and credited 100SB", if I have survey 215053 available to me, I'll give it a go.

We run surveys through panels from time to time. I would think people telling what the survey is about messes up the results and gets people qualified who should have dq'd (because If you know what the survey is about you may figure out how to get around the screeners). Even though we only make 50 or 75 sb/ survey, they aren't cheap. I know I accidentally found one of ours for 75 sb which we were paying about $8/complete for.

I sometimes wonder when I see people on other sites list what a survey is for, and say they used this zip code or said they had 3 kids, etc. I get disqualified from most SB surveys because trying to make stuff up is too much work. But I think it must skew the results.

True.

Personally, I only do surveys that I'd qualify for anyway, because it's a lot of effort to lie for 20-30 minutes and it's never worth it for 50 or 75 cents. Telling the truth is barely worth that effort! So if I knew a survey was about feminine hygene products, I wouldn't bother in the least.
