Those ol' weather blues getting me down

I know I'm being a complete spoiled baby about this. I know things could be much worse.... baking hot and dry in BC, typhoons in the Pacific, tornados ripping up homes in the Midwest... but....

IF I GET ONE MORE DAY OF FOG, DRIZZLE AND SHOWERS I'M GONNA HAVE TO CHANGE MY DIZNAME FROM NORTHSTAR TO TOADSTOOL!

There. I feel better. But, oh Lord, if you see the sun, tell 'er to roll on over here to Halifax and shine on me!

I could use a day of fog and drizzle, temps have been 30+ for the past couple of days...i'm sweating right now...ugh...

My sympathies, but isn't that par for the course for Nova Scotia in the summer? My mom's family is from Yarmouth, and we used to vacation there every summer when I was little. I completely remember that "Murphy" would show up on every trip and we would have beautiful sunny weather on the day we landed and the day we left, the rest of the time was pea-soup fog. My parents went down for a trip last year to Yarmouth and when they came home and showed us the pictures, I couldn't believe it! You mean all those years you could actually see the wharf from the farm and we never saw it because of the fog???
