We are trying to decide if we want to use a Towncar or Magical Express this year. Last year we used ME, but this year we are going for a special occasion and we are going to be there longer than last year. I wanted to do a grocery stop too.

So my question is what time does the towncar pick you up to return to the airport? Is it the same as ME (3 hours prior to your flight)?

We always use a towncar. Our favorite is Tiffany. They pick us up approx 2 1/2 hours before our flight.

We have gone with Tiffany and Happy and too often have been waiting for them and wondering if they wil actually show up. They are always at the airport but many times are very late (incuding one no-show) at the resorts. A lot of the drivers are on their cell phones for much of the trip and we will not accept that any more, it's too dangerous.

We now rent a car (National usually) and drop it off at WDW, then pick one up at WDW for our return trip to MCO. it is less $$$ than the towncar and more flexible.

Our scheduled pickup at BWV with Sunray Transportation was 6:15 pm for a 8:20 pm flight. Roger was (as always) a little early. They have always been waiting for us when we get to the airport, even when we have been late and early.

I've used Happy several times and will be doing so again. They usually suggest being picked up 2 1/2 hours ahead of time, 2 hours if it's a very off time. They've always been on time to pick us up and the drivers have never been on the phone while driving (they will check in to confirm that they have picked us up) and tend to get chatting with us instead. I suspect that if we didn't want to talk, they wouldn't, but we've met some neat people and learned a lot about Disney and Orlando that way. :)

DD *loved* the time they didn't have a town car available and sent a stretch limo instead. <grin>

I really can't decide! Our flight home is at 6:10 pm, and I'd like to maximize the last day as much as I can. Last year ME picked us up around 3 hours prior and we sat around doing absolutely nothing for a long time!!! Our flight home is on a saturday too, so I'm not sure if that will affect lines, etc.

Decisions, decisions......

We always use Tiffany Town car and like PezPam mentioned above with Happy, our driver always chats with our family, and we have learned so much about the area via him. We like the fact that they are waiting for us to arrive at the airport, we get our luggage, jump into the town car and head directly to our hotel, unlike the buses where you may have several other hotel stops , unless you are the lucky one and your hotel happens to be first on the list. As far as return trip back to the airport, we have never had a problem, Tiffany driver (ours has always been Berkley as we request him), Always asks what time our flight is and then suggests a pick up time for us.
We have used Tiffany for our past 5 trips and he has always arrived at the hotel on time or a tad early. We also like to call them and confirm the day before our departure to make sure pick times are locked in.

I use Sunray and they are fantastic....waiting for us when we get there and always early to pick us up...our driver is not on the phone either...we spend the time chatting which is quite enjoyable. when we get dropped off at our resort, they ask what pick-up we would like. Sunray's drivers know when something significant is happening which may lead to us needing to be at the airport earlier....usually 2 - 21/2 hours.....

they have never steered us wrong and yes, there is a free 30 minute grocery stop (Publix) as long as it is requested at the time of booking....their cars and SUV's are immaculate...I highly recommend them..

have a great trip!! 17 days to go for me!! :yay:

We use FL Tours because I get a very nice discount with my DIS boards sponsorship. We have found them to be a very good option for us and have used them to get to our Disney cruise and a Disney trip we made off site due to a conference. We had grocery stops both times which was great. Osman was our driver both times and its like old home week when he greets us at the airport. This November we will be using ME, but FL Tours again next February for our MAGICal cruise.

We have always used Happy Limo and we have NEVER had a problem. In fact, the first time we used them, my children made the comment that Mommy didn't get the limo like they wanted her to. Well, when the driver came back to our hotel for the return trip, he picked us up in a white super-strech limo, compliments of Happy Limo. You talk about a MAGICAL ride. Our children were elated to say the least.

A consult with my TA confirmed the long 3 hr. haul back to the airport with ME. Since it's my last day at my favorite vacation spot :goodvibes I want to maximize my time. And you can't beat the grocery store stop!

It's been Tiffany for us since our first trip in 1999. Our last trip was last Thanksgiving and our pick-up time was 5 p.m. for a 7 p.m.flight on Delta. It was the Friday after Thanksgiving. We had plenty of time and for sure, the security lines were long!

On our trip last year we used Tiffany. We're going to try Magical Express this year.
The driver for Tiffany was right on time and was really nice. When we were going home we had to leave the resort at something like 6 am and even at that time of the morning he was on time and was really friendly.
