Who did you book it with? disney gave me the run around today lol. Groups put me to Ohana's and Ohana's told me to call group dining. Ohana's said that I need a BEO for anything over 35 people. SO how did you all go about booking it.Thank you!

I just emailed my WC yesterday with the same problem.
I will post her response as soon as I get it.

We are going to have 20 (just inviting immediate family and the wedding party) and they told us to make separate reservations equaling 20 and then request to all be close to each other. They said they can't seat you all together unless you have 14 or less. This was through regular dining. They did tell us to call group dining, but we did it this way instead. We have 1 reservation for 14 and 1 reservation for 6 and they are going to push us together (supposedly.) I'll let you know in 4 days how it works out :thumbsup2

I had issues trying to book our rehearsal too. I finally got lucky with an operator at WDW-DINE who transfered me to the managers office at 'Ohana. I had to leave a message on their machine and he eventually called me back (couple days later). I was freaking out waiting for them to call me back though and finally contacted our EM about it. She was going to arrange it all for us but while I was talking to her the manager finally called back. Anyway.... long story short... when I was trying to confirm our reservation I couldn't find the managers office number. I just called the front desk of the Polynesian and they connected me. I would explain your situation and hopefully they can get you in contact with the manager because he is the one that has to book any large group reservation. Hope that wasn't confusing :confused3.

Side note: I called to confirm our dinner and the machine says they will call you back as soon as possible. Two weeks later I realized I never heard, called my EM, she called for me, and she then called me back all proud of herself and making fun of me because they returned her call within five minutes (she was too funny :rotfl:). So having your EM call might speed up the process.

Maybe it has changed since I booked back in February, but I just called the main dining line and they had no problem booking me at O'Hana's for 18 people.

We just booked ours last weekend. We had to call 'Ohana directly, we left messages
but we found out that if you call them about 1/2 hour to an hour after breakfast
you'll be able to get a hold of someone.
I'm not sure if you have the number but here it is just in case:
407-824-1334. We spoke to Alex (the manager) He was really helpful, and super nice,
he answered alot of our questions without the "run around".
We talked for about 45mins. I would try calling him because nothing was mentioned
to us about a BEO when we were originally going to book for 40 people.
Hope this helps!
Oh we ended up booking for 35 people

My Wedding planner booked mine for me! We had 30 people and we all sat together! All at one table!!! One LONG table! It was great! And it was under the Beale/Robinson Wedding Party, so there was no mistaken why we were there! Hope this helps, get you planner involved and have them set it up for you! Also, as the guest list change, she updated it as we got closer to make sure there were enough seats for us all! Well, I really hope this helps! Good luck! :thumbsup2

I told my WP that we wanted the Rehearsal Dinner at 'Ohana. She said when and what time, we told her, she booked it. It was extremely simple on our end.

Thank you everybody for the advice.I think that when I get my WP I will have them book it for me.It saves me a lot of stress.I am stressing out so much about this dinner.

I called group dining and had no problem but I was told we'd be at two tables (21 of us) though they would try to put us close together. We probably could've been at 1 table if we had the first or last seating but I insisited on an 8pm reservation...

They really do try their best to accomodate you...good luck! :goodvibes

I just had my EM book it for me. We originally planned for 70 people so there was no way I could book that myself. She said we weren't guaranteed to all sit together blah blah blah but we all ended up together. Good luck :)

I called disney dinning and was transfered over to group dinning yesterday. Regular dinning only covers groups under 18. We were able to get a reservation for 30 people at 5pm. We will have to sit at 3 different tables, but they said they might be able to push them together.
