Any picky-eater and budget friendly suggestions??

The kids will be 10, 8 and 5. My oldest eats everything, my middle one eats chicken nuggets, cereal and pizza:confused3 and my youngest is a huge mac and cheese fan.

Try the Electric Umbrella at Epcot. I tried some of the kid's meals there, and they were really tasty!

One place that has everything your family likes and is a buffet is Trails End over at FW. It's pretty inexpensive and you can use the DDE card there if you ahve one.

Pinocchio's Village Haus in MK. Mac and Cheese is very good, as are the pizzas and fries. For your eldest, I highly recommend the Figaro Fries.

Also, I don't know where you're staying but we save a good bit by eating cereal in the room for breakfast, and the occasional sandwich for lunch or dinner depending on if we go back to the room to swim in the afternoon. At the values you'd need a fridge for this - $10/day, way less than you would spend on a meal.

I also make my own trail mix to take to the parks. I mix vanilla creme mini wheats, m&m's, pretzels, cheezits and peanuts together in quart size freezer bags, and put them in a backpack with 2 water bottles per person (1 per person frozen). DH carries the backpack and appreciates the "cold pack", LOL.

If you are flying here, and don't have transportation, I'd maybe take a cab to Publix and stock up. Their weekly sales begin on Thursday and end on Wednesday, FWIW.

Oh, and a quick afternoon snack at Epcot is Norway's lefse - very economical. I also like the Boulangerie Patisserie in France.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything more specific.

we had some really good picky eaters too .......and a few vegetarians and a few that were on ww diets........the picky kids ate at most food courts and alot of the cs in the parks......you should have no trouble finding them things that they will like........the chicken fingers are so good and sometimes to much with the french fries that go with it.......cheeseburgers are another huge item that could easily be divided between the two youngest kids.....what resort are you staying in or are you at an outside place?
I almost forgot that there are microwaves in the resort food courts and you could bring your pop corn pkgs from home.......they sell them in the stores at the resorts.....but they are flat and can easily fit in any suitcase or back pack......the kids loved the extra spicey that they do not sell at the resorts..

I should have added-- this is for NEXT August:rolleyes:

We're flying in and staying at the Contemporary.

Thanks for the responses so far... keep 'em coming.

Earl of Sandwich at DTD is a great, inexpensive (compared to other Disney prices ;) place to eat. We usually get McDonald's for my daughter since she is not a fan of sandwiches and just eat outside at Earl's. But they also have soups, salads, fruit cups and yogurt cups...very good food.

Although it is not exactly an economical option, the House of Blues has REALLY good mac & cheese :thumbsup2
