Those married over 10 years post!!

We celebrated 24 years on May 17. It's hard to believe sometimes because it seems like only yesterday.

20 years coming up!
People have commented that they are surprised by how long, because when they see us cuddle, to them it is "not normal," or "like we are newlyweds." To me that reaction makes me wonder what their idea of a "normal" marriage is. What holds them together if they no longer have affection for each other -- or maybe the people commenting are divorced?
Our "secret" is that we are each other's best friend, to totally trust and rely on. Plus cuddling is a lot more pleasant than arguing, being resentful, etc.
P.S. To MrsStats re. a short courtship, we "met" in the summer (already had mutual friends), moved in together in the fall, and married in the winter of the same year. And no, we didn't "have to" either.

We were married on 4-9-94 and have been together for 14.5 years.
What amazes me is that after 10 years of marriage, I still wake up every day loving him more than I did before. I hope to be saying and feeling that in 50-60 years.

In October we'll be married for 12 years, and sometimes, I don't know how he puts up with me - oh, that's right, he loves my cooking and my wisecracks!!

We will be married 17 years on "lucky" 7/11.
Together just over 21 yrs. And it keeps on getting better!
We celebrated our 15th by renewing our wedding vows.
It was a complete shock to me. DH invited our close friends and family and only "invited" me 2 days prior.
He planned every last detail, including printed invitations, decorations, our priest, the readings, and favors. He showed our wedding tape, played our wedding song and really surprised me.
What a great love we share! I am truly the lucky one.
He's my best friend and I love him to pieces!

39 years in September. As the years pass, thinking back to the trials and tribulations, some very difficult, and how easy it could have been to walk away, then to work through the problem that seemed so big at the time and so minor now.

It will be 17 years on December 5th.
We met in January, He proposed in May and we married in December - all in the same year!
And nope - we didn't have to either.
We have had many great times together and looking forward to many more.

14 yrs, two children, and 5 straight years in a row of going to WDW.
Only regret......not discovering sooner that WDW was such a cool place to go. DW mentioned it for our honeymoon 14 yrs ago and I said "we dont want to go to WDW, thats for kids." Boy, was I wrong!
