maybe try this?

visit.disneyparks.com/johndoe (yourfirstandlastname)

***type it EXACTLY like it is above, do not add a www. or http in front of it.****

Obviously replace the last part with your first and last name and see if it comes up. I got a postcard in the mail today with a pin and it had the URL above with my name. I ordered a video a few weeks ago from the coupons.com site, so this is how I got a pin, since my regular disney sign in address is my PO Box.

So cool! I tried this and my PIN code came up! I already knew there was one attached to my name, but this will be great for future use.

Thanks for the idea :)

I just tried this and I did not see a pin. Where should I look for it? Is it on the screen or do I have to go under something else?

That's neat that it could work for some. Also, it would save CMs time while allowing people to check, thus saving Disney.

For some reason it doesn't show the pin code that I had associated with my name that I booked the kids play and eat free package with. Maybe it has since expired. I tried my name in all the variations I can think of.

:confused3

I'll check it again periodically.

Thanks!

Then I'm wondering... how could they use only our first and last names? I mean, for some of us there must be hundreds of people with our same first and last names. Does it work if you just copy that URL into the address bar or do you have to be in your email or something. It seemed so simple but I just don't see how they can differentiate. So.... I thought I must be doing something wrong.

Where is the pin code suppose to come up? I did it and it doesn't have any code, am I looking in the wrong place?:confused3

I just tried it and it said "recipient not found" in the address bar

yes, same here - it says it in the address bar. but page comes up..welcome to your disney-dream-come-true maker... and says to click here for info, etc. but doesn't seem personalized to me at all. I've also tried typing not only my name, but of friends/family who have been to disney - and comes up the same way for them, too - two people of which I know recently got codes a couple months back.

I had received an email pin code. When I put my name in, it basically showed a screenshot of the email. Does that make sense?

I tried my friend's name, because I know she ordered the DVD and has not gotten any codes. There was one for her, too! I just e-mailed the link to her ;)

Trying different names... found one of my friends has a code on there that came up. But... I dont' get what they were offered. $82 a night at a value resort, some of the dates were 11/29-12/17 - um, when you go to disney's site, that is the price anyway - there is no savings. what do you need a code for to book regular price of the room during that time period?

So then I'm thinking that maybe that URL works only for that particular postcard mailing. I have tried all variations of my name, all my sisters' names (who are also registered all over the place), even common names just to see if I could ever pull up a pin code. That's all I can figure. For those for whom it works that is great, though.

I tried the link but unfortunately I have a very popular name. The person who the code was intended to was not myself but one of the other 50,000 of me. LOL I knew I should of changed my name years ago. Thanks for the tip though it was pretty cool.

It worked when I put in my parents name! I wish I could get what they were offered (lol). They had 2 pins pop up on that page. One for 30% off at Christmas, this is what we are looking for.

I tried it and low and behold I have a pin code under my name for 30% off :cool1::cool1:. I tried DH's name as well but not nothing for him :rolleyes1. I have never received a code so I'm so excited :yay:. And the dates we were thinking about in December are included :dance3:. Thanks for the heads up on this :thumbsup2.

Oh I'm glad it's working for some of you! I hadn't even thought about people with the same name! Hmmm! My name is VERY uncommon though!

HELP! The same thing is happening to me. When I enter the site and my name or DH's, I get the page that says...Welcome to your Disney Dream-Come-True Maker. Am I doing something wrong?
