those gay pins

My funny moment from today at Disneyland.

A grandmother and her granddaughter where walking past me when the Gma asked me if I was trading the pins on my lanyard.

I have mostly mickey pins that I collect for my godchild and a few random ones that I use to collect new pins for him. One of them is the rainbow mickey head and I also had the Gay Days 09 pin I picked up at the info center.

I said sure, I figured it was a cute grandma/granddaughter moment and why not be nice.

The grandma then looks at me and asks "Are all of these Gay Pins?" All I could think to day was "uhhhh...no".

You just had to smile because she was just to nice about it. The girl then told her that she had already traded all the ones that she didn't want, so they said thanks and left.

Well, I actually had someone hitting on me once at Disney World BECAUSE I was wearing the rainbow Mickey Well I was actually waiting for my partner that went in the bathroom at EPCOT... So I smiled but said I was already taken. Anyway, depending on who you see with those pins, you never know what to expect!

Once again I will state beware of wearing your gay pride pin unless you want to be felt up by Tigger lol I plan on wearing mine to DL next week!!!

Well if you see a guy with red hair and a black bag with a gay pin on the strap hanging out with a well endowed girl (LOL) and a scruffy big guy (my bro) that's me!!

Now THAT I would love to have happen.

While at D23 Expo, we got our pictures taken with tons of characters. One round of pics, Goofy was there. Obviously, Steven and I standing there wearing our ears, matching Disneydork tshirts, pin lanyards must have given off some sort of Gay Vibe.

Anyhoo, We walk up to have our picture taken with Goofy. He puts his arms around us both, then we do the typical "showing off our muscles" pose (not sure why they make you do that). Then Goofy wouldn't leave me alone. Steven's getting our photopass back and putting it in his wallet and Goofy keeps hugging me, rubbing my head, then hugging me some more, picking me off the ground, swinging me around, more hugging.

Then when we started to walk away, he kind of pushes steven off to the side, puts his arm around me and starts to walk away with me and waves at the photopass people. First off, characters make me a TAD uneasy like clowns do. Not as much since clowns terrify me. So it was taking all my strength not to have a panic attack.

But seriously, I think I was getting flirted with by Goofy.........

He's so my type.

But getting felt up by Tigger. THAT would be wonderful. Although Steven would get jealous.

I have to admit I do smile when I see people with the rainbow mickey head! I should've brought mine, but I left it home because I didn't want to trade it anyway.

I wear my Rainbow Mickey Pin at work. It's very rare that anyone will comment on it. However today, this random customer joked that I probably visit WDW the first week of June. Sure, I got the reference right away...but why is he saying that? Is he sterotyping me? Insulting me? What's his deal?

Thankfully he quickly realized his blunder. He then proceeds to tell me just how FABU Gay Days are with all the boys in red! Yeah the guy is a total 'Mo.

That left me wondering....How should I proceed the next time my pin gets noticed??? Obviously my Gaydar isn't up to snuff. I was thinking I would say:

Oh umm..I'm not gay I just like Rainbows....GOTCHA!!!
