Hi,
This will be my girls first trip (they are 3 yrs old) and although I have been to Disney before (years ago), this is all new to me (first time with kids there!)

OK so here is my question.
We are landing in Orlando about 10:30 or so.
By the time we get out of the hotel, I'd say it would be about 1:00?
We are going to Epcot for our first day there. We are having dinner at Akershus in Epcot at 5:00.

Before and after dinner, what do you recommend we do besides explore?

Anything I should definately look for? (My girls are Princess OBSESSED). Are there fireworks? If so, where & when? (If my girls make it that long, I will have a stroller for them in case they fall asleep).

Thank you!

There are several princess meet and greets in World Showcase in the afternoons in Epcot. The fireworks show is Illuminations shown all around World Showcase at 9pm.

My guys loved the kidcot stations. They loved to color on the masks and collect the charms.

We also enjoy doing the Kidcot funstops. We also do the Nemo ride at the Living Seas aquarium, Figment, the boat ride in the Land and our favorite Spaceship Earth (this ride just rehabbed). We also like tasting the different sodas at Club Cool (Only time the kids get soda!). There is also a character meet and greet near there, as well as an awesome ice cream shop and the fountain and music. It is also fun to smoosh and collect pressed pennies -- my daughter loved to have a little purse full of the character coins!

Epcot is the place to bring your light up spinny toy from the Disney Store...the park is dark at night and the light up whirly gigs they sell in the park look really enticing. Have a great trip!

I would do the world showcase for sure. My kids are 6 & 8 and still enjoy seeing the different countries. There are princesses here and there. There is a character station with mickey, minnie, chip and dale, goofy and pluto too. And who doesn't love Nemo? There is a lot to explore beyond the ride. Have a great time!

on your first day, i would not try to cram too much in... i'd concentrate on dinner w/the princesses and not much more... if you get to epcot early enough, maybe start at canada and just do a quick visit to each of the countries (maybe hit the kidcot stations) 'til you get to norway... once your'e done with dinner, maybe ride the ride in norway, visit mexico and ride the ride there and call it a night... you don't want to be burned out before you begin!
