JC, it's my sig. The 'rotating' image. We came up with a flash solution, but it's, well, cumbersome.

I think I could write a very very tight script that would do the same thing. The old boards I couldn't do scripting, but with the advent of the count down timers that seems to have changed.

It would take me 15 minutes if I had Macromedia Generator running on a server somewhere. It would even size the images for you automaticaly.

But that's $$$$$$

I don't see whay we can't look at it again in JS though. It would be much more involved than say the countdown thing would be because of the image hosting and sizing that would be involved. The rotation and assigning of the URl's to the images should be pretty straight forward, but explaining how to place the images may be fairly daunting to lay on a user that's not "savvy".

Unless you are thinking of some other way of doing it?

Tell me what you are thinking please. it's possible that I'm missing something and making it harder than it really is.
