April 22 is our 180 mark for October. I don't know whether to do my own ADR's or let DU do them. My only concern is booking the CRT breakfast, but it sounds like most people are gettin what they want on the 180th day. If I do my own, do I need the reservation number for our booking?:confused3

Let me know what your experience is with DU booking ADR's.

Let me know what your experience is with DU booking ADR's.

I booked with DU, and they've been fantastic. Christy is my agent and she's been really helpful. I had booked some of my ADR's, but wasn't thrilled with some of the times and she's been helping me fix them. You can call Disney yourself and book without a reservation number, I didn't have mine when I called.

I let my TA at DU do it. I gave her general instructions with the timeframe I wanted and then a list of restaurants and days with a back up plan.

She did it right after I sent the e-mail and shot back my adr res #'s, times and dates which were all my Plan A choices and times.

I did not send right at the 180+10 either. I needed to wait until I had a firm park day plan.

I haven't reqested any changes as we are eating at all of our first picks at the optimal times for our touring/rest days, etc.

Take Care!

I have done this twice with DU. LOVE them. I've had Shirley as my TA both times (requested her the 2nd time!) and she's great.

The first time we had park hoppers, so I just told her where we wanted to eat and she made all the arrangements. For this trip we are not hopping, so in addition to telling her where we want to eat, we told her what days as well. I didn't specify any times, just what meal we wanted (breakfast, lunch or dinner).

I'm very happy with how it turned out, we even got an 8am for Crystal Palace on an EMH day at MK, which means getting in before it actually opens!!:cool1: SO happy about that!

I let the agent take care of this. It has always worked well for me. I set some parameters for certain dates and specify some restaurants. They always take care of it and get the times or as close to the requested times as possible.

Thanks for all your input. Rhonda is my TA and seems to be very good. I just have this fear about putting it in someone elses hands, but it seems to work out for everyone plus I don't have to take off from work to be making the calls. I'm so excited.:hippie: :cool1: :cool1:

They have done some for me and I have done some also. When I have wanted hard to get reservations (CRT for breakfast and Chef Mickey's for Thanksgiving), they have gotten me both. I had to do a few myself on our last trip because my sister and family were eating with us a few times. They would not do those for me because my sister did not book through them. Even though it was my ADRs, because other people were eating with us, they would not do it. So I had to do those myself. But they were easy ones to get.

I just booked my first one thru them and am doing it myself.

I don't see the point in getting all my information together to give it to them and have them give it to Disney when I can just give it to Disney myself.

I have to give it to someone...why bother with a middleman? I'll do it myself and save them the trouble.

This is my second time using DU, with Rhonda as my TA too!! She is super helpful and has really made planning my trips a breeze. I honestly don't think I will ever try to plan a WDW trip without her again!!

We have used DU 5 times for disney trips and we have always had them do all of our ADR's. I send in the list of where we want/dates and aprox time frame. Pretty soon I get a return email with the info, if a time did not work for us we or something needed to be changed down the road I usually called and made the change myself. But otherwise it is very easy to let DU handle it and I don't have to wait around on the phone trying to get it all done myself.

End of May I will be sending in my next bunch of ADR requests!

Bev
