Those at the Fort now... how are the pools.

I haven't been at the Fort anywhere near a holiday... so how are the pools? Can you tell if there are a lot of locals "sneaking in?"

1) The pools are currently wet.
2) Don't know after the locals.

The pool by the cabins is closed for refurb. We were in cabin 2501...best location ever...if the pool were open.

If I were a betting man, my money would be on the locals over running the pool,
and a lotta the other amenities meant for PAYING customers !
But that just be my my bet.

I was going to do a 2 day trip starting Sat. But had to work. I was told by a friend I was going to spend time with that Disney was only letting registered guess park in the parking lot no pass on park. I was also told they were checking KTTW cards randomly, but we will see about that. Bad news for all the people like me who love the cabin pool there is no more deep end the whole pool is now 3 ½ feet.

Yep Frank, I think you are right. The pool is probably overrun with locals this weekend. It would be interesting to hear if any of the "supposed enforcement of KTTW or parking passes" was actually working. I have my doubts 'cause we all know how Disney hates to enforce any of their rules.

I haven't been to the pool yet. I'll check it out tomorrow. Someone on the bus back from EPCOT tonight said they were told they could pool hop over to Wilderness Lodge. I told them it "normally" wasn't allowed, but maybe with the cabin pool being closed, they were allowing it. She didn't say who told her, but she said it was her first stay at the fort.

I'm not a big pool user, but I'll have a look tomorrow to see how "local" the place looks.
