Thor's Hammer Vodka -- Need Help

I've been trying and trying, unsuccessfully, to find this for a friend. Does anyone here live in eastern Ohio, northern West Virginia, the WV panhandle, or northern Maryland? Have you seen this in your area?

Here in PA we have state liquor stores. They do not carry this and can't order it for me. We aren't permitted to have liquor shipped into our state either, or I'd just order it online. Darn. I'm not sure what else to do.

If anyone has seen it fairly nearby I'd be willing to drive a ways to get it, but I certainly don't want to go driving from state to state on a wild goose chase looking for it randomly, LOL.

Can anyone out there help?

I'm sorry I can't help, but I thought I'd mention that driving from state to state looking for a particular brand of vodka is known as a GREY Goose chase.

We have a good friend who is a Big Time Alcoholic - vodka is his drink of choice. Just called him (he's in the bar, big surprise) and asked if he'd heard of it. Here's my conversation:

Bill? It's Beanie.

Hiiiii, Beanie! How are you?

Good. Are you drunk?

No, I don't drink. Well, I do drink sometimes. I might have had a cocktail.

No, of course not. While you're not getting drunk, do you ever see a vodka called "Thor's Hammer Vodka?"

He's at work, where all people who aren't having a cocktail are.

This isn't a joke. There's no punch line. There is a vodka on the market called "Thor's Hammer Vodka". They sell it. Have you heard of it?

What is the rule on vodka, Beanie?

The cheap stuff is best. The rest is for amateurs.

And what is the best...hold on..."No, I never went out with her. She's crazy."

Of course. I don't know anything about Thor drinking vodka.

I think that if it were sold in Cleveland, he'd have heard of it. He sounded drunk, but not so drunk that he'd have forgotten that. I leave it to you.

Thank you Jessica R. I'll have to try calling them directly on Monday. All the local stores I tried said it wasn't available and couldn't be ordered. Maybe they're just not up to date on the latest items. At least now I have hope.

So, I couldn't wait to call the PCLB this morning, I was so hopeful all weekend. Unfortunately they do not have this in their system and the woman I spoke with had never heard of it. I told her I saw it on their website, on the new items list. She said that just means that they're probably going to get it sometime in the future but there was no way of telling when that would be. For now and the immediate future they do not have it.

UGH. I'm back to square one. This is crazy. Maybe I should go hang out in Morgantown and make some friends there, LOL, so I could have it shipped to them.

Anyone here from Morgantown WV or Deep Creek MD area who wants to be my new friend?
