My family and I will have a split stay for 14 days. June 5-12 is at AKL with DDP. There will be 4 of us for this segment of the trip. June 12-19, 3 of the party will continue our stay at the Swan without DDP. I can make ADRs Tuesday, Dec 8 & I know they can usually be made 10 days out. I don't have my Swan reservation linked in MDE due to changes that have to be made, my question is, will this prevent me from making ADRs 10 days out? Can I keep making them 1 day at a time after Tuesday until all 14 days of our trip have ADRs even though only 7 days are currently linked in MDE? Please help! I'm thoroughly confused!

You don't have to have a reservation to make an ADR. People who stay off-site and Orlando folks make ADRs without a room reservation all the time.

Thank you so much! That makes me feel much better. So, as long as I'm at 180 days, I should be able to make ADRs for 10 days out?

On your 180 day you will be able to make dining reservations for your arrival day and for the length of your AKL stay. Then after the start of your Swan reservation you will be able to make dining reservations 180 days from the day you want to dine at a particular restaurant. You do not have to link your Swan reservation to MDE. Many people staying offisite or locals make dining reservations without a resort reservation.
