After all the trouble we're having with Virgin we've started looking at other tour operators, thomson seem to be advertising alot on the local tv, has anyone travelled with them to Florida recently? we are looking to go in the middle of may next year staying the courtyard in the marriott village.
Next year will be our 6th time to WDW but the first time not with Virgin!! so we really don't know what the other operators have to offer.:confused3 Any comments or advice gratefully received.:thanks:

No travelled with them.

We are in the same boat as you, looking at them for next year rather than using Virgin.

Have a copy of this years brochure and it says not fuel supplements hope this is the same for next year.

They go on sale this Thursday.

we've also noticed no fuel supplements as well in last years brochure, hoping to pick the brochure up later this week:woohoo:

Thomson don't charge fuel supplements but they'll be making up the difference elsewhere! no operator will be making a loss. each company has something slightly different to offer, Thomson, Mytravel Thomas cook (JMC), cosmos and First choice will all offer similair products but First choice have better legroom if thats important to you.
try thomas cook signature for scheduled virgin flights or tradewinds or jetlife, you may get very different prices for the same thing

I've just got back from Florida and had a great time but totally agree with the need for comfort and leg room on a long haul flight! Got back in need of another holiday!
We're going again in the summer and have booked with Thomson... We were talking to the agent about it and the new plane does sound good. The details are in the brochure but it's 33" (Virgin is 31 apparently!) and they've got seatback TVs. :cheer2:

yes the new planes will be a distinct improvement, I flew to SFB with Brittania a couple of years ago and it was very uncomfortable. Hopefully their merger with First Choice means that if they have to swap aircraft they'll use FCs and not old Brittania planes.
