Thomas cook whats the catch??

If it works out cheaper I'd fly with anyone,we only book virgin as we benefit from the discount.:goodvibes

I know I usually stick with Virgin but have booked with TCD next year with the same flights as we would have booked with Virgin anyway but with a whopping difference in price.

It is certainly worth a look, we have booked the Hard Rock up for 2010, Virgin was thousands more expensive.

I honestly don't care about flights. I just don't get why people will pay so much more money just to sit on a flight? Most people sleep anyway? After 9 hours on that flight I'm in my favourite place in the world and the flight is forgotten about so I honestly don't mind if the flight isn't perfect. More money for Universal I say!

I wish! I can't sleep at all regardless of wether we are travelling out or travelling back :lmao:

I was telling DP lastnight I got a quote for 2 weeks next year ;) He huffed and puffed, but we'll see

Thanks guys !! I think ill stay with virgin but only because my ds has special needs and it appears that TC may not be as good as virgin were at accomadating him. Maybe when everyone is older we can start looking for bargains :lmao:
Wicket I had a look at TCD but they dont do flydrives and Ive already got my villa sorted so guess for another year Virgin get our hard earned money :)

i did a dummy booking for TCD going next August. The flights were on VS75/76 staying at the AKL and it was slighly more expensive than going with VH.

I think the prices must vary depending on where you are staying and when you are going. I can't find any where they are loads cheaper, but I am looking at school hos.

Hi guys
I have just priced up flights for November with Thomas cook and they are coming out at nearly a grand cheaper than Virgin !! Whats the catch ??? :confused3
Anyone flew with thomas cook whats the service like??
Thanks Louise x

Not my favourite airline.:headache:

Have flown with them twice:

1st time to Spain, still waiting for my suitcase that was lost on way
2nd time to Sanford (Orlando) 6 hour flight delay going to Sanford  and no in flight entertainment.
and on way home son was ill and not one air hostess wanted to know - if it wasn't for the kind young man sitting across aisle from us, I think my son would still be covered in vomit :scared1:

You get what you pay for IMHO

We flew to Orlando with Thomas Cook 2 years ago, have also flown with them to Cuba, Dom Rep, so 3 long haul, never had any problems, using them again this year.

mo x
