We are coming to WDW for the first time Nov 7...we are a male 53 and female 51 and we have saved for 8 years for this trip...Disney has been a DREAM for me all my life...but...life got in the way...also son 24 and Girlfriend will be coming with us...maybe...just maybe we will be lucky enough to get a dream come true from Disney..my god …its almost time …a little over 2 weeks….to wax poetetically if I may...I used to watch "Wonderful World Of Disney" every Sunday as a child and young adult with dreams of going there some day...we are staying at CSR with MYW and DDP
All I can say is we have a count down going and CANNOT wait until Nov 7, 2007 at 5:30 am when we leave for WDW!!!!!:

:goodvibes Happy for you and sending pixie dust your way. I know you will have a great time.pixiedust: We are going in 19 days.

I'm grinning ear to ear at your innocence. I envy you, to be able to experience your first time at Disney as an adult, AND have your child (even if he's an adult too) with you.... It is a truly wonderful and unforgetable experience. It may take a while, but you'll remember what it is like to be a kid again with a carefree spirit. That's the pixie dust. And when you find yourself mesmerized by the parades and fireworks, pointing at every detail, just so your family doesn't miss some cool effect or feature, you'll discover that you've been touched by the magic. Have a great time, and remember to stop every once in a while and breathe. pixiedust:

Congratulations! I hope you'll be wearing a lime green Mickey head, as I will be looking for YOU! (We leave tomorrow morning!)

When you sit to watch Wishes for the first time, sit back and take a look around you as you steal a moment to think about it. It's all real!! For me, that was that "magic" moment as I sat with my DH and kids (who were in Disney for the 1st time) and watched Wishes. Sometimes, you let the whole trip go past you so fast that you miss those special moments.

That was exactly what we did when my DH & I went to WDW for the first time last year. Well, it was his first and my 3rd trip, and we were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. We went to MK and were waiting for Wishes to begin. We sat there and just grinned thinking "OMG we're here!!!" DH (55 at the time) was just like a little kid and it felt like my first time too! That was such a magical trip.

RJO - have a fantastic trip!! My two girlfriends & I will be arriving at WDW on Wednesday too. Have a safe trip!

Sending Pixie dust your way...Take in every moment like it is your last...WDW is truly one of the most magical places on earth and transports me back to my childhood each and every time I take a trip. Have fun!!
