I discovered this website by accident. I was on the discusssion board at cruise critic and someone mentioned this web. How long has it been here? I have been a DVC member since 1993 and am wondering why i haven't discovered this before. How did you all find out about it? I think it is great!!!!!!!!

It's traditional to write the URL on the bathroom wall each time you stay at WDW. Nothing spreads the word better then #@#@house grafitte.

I joined in DVC in '94,got my first home computer in Dec., '96 and found this site in the summer of '97. It was just beginning, I think, and Pete had not even moved to Florida yet. The changes I have seen in almost 4 years are incredible! Don't you love it?

I have been around since late '98, but I know Pete had the site going for a long time. I found this site by doing a search on Disneyworld. When I tried this site, I was addicted immediately.

I found this site while Pete was still in New Jersey. I believe that it was the later part of 96, maybe early 97. I did a search and found a different site that mentioned the DIS. I don't even think that it had that name at the time. Back then there was about 50 people that chatted regularly and only one board (you really got to know people back then). It sure has expanded! I bought DVC in 97 and haven't missed a week since. Went on the 2nd ever DIS meet in 98 (Wonderful MK fireworks cruise with Pete and John). Now don't get too jealous, but Pete gave me 2 DIS t-shirts and 2 DIS latte mugs. Thanks Pete!

Found this web site in the summer of 1999. Went surfing looking for information on WDW..and found this site. Been hooked ever since. I originally had well over 1500 posts..but lost them in the "crash" last year. So, I'm working my way up there again!! lol!! Great people here on all the boards. It's great to see so many people here on a regular basis..it speaks volumes about the quality and content of this site. Pete and company do a great job! We are fortunate to have a trip planned to WDW in late November, so we will be attending the DIS convention..it will be great to finally get to meet some of you!

I actually used to post under another name, but I got too busy to keep up. I forgot the password I used to use. I remember when Eva bouth into DVC.
Some of you may remember me as Dsesylou(my DH was in the Navy) Anyway I was an orignal member. I still have my DIS t-shirt that I got for donating $30.

I found this place in late '98 when I was looking for information about timeshare programs around Orlando. Somebody from another timeshare site referred me here, and I just loved it here. Check out all the boards - plenty to see and do here!

I found it last summer/fall when we were getting ready to take friends with us for a trip. I was looking for more information to give them and happened on the DIS. When I saw a DVC board, I HAD to participate!

I also found this site when Pete was in NJ. At one point, I had achieved DIS Veteran status. When technical changes took place and all statuses were reset to 0, I was so depressed that I became a lurker (LOL). One thing for sure; as a DVC member, this is the first place I check for DISney info.
