I was at the DL Frontierland pin cart yesterday buying some pins when a boy (maybe 10 years old) came up to buy a pin. As he was buying the pin and was walking away, I handed him a DS Minnie July Calendar Pin for the heck of it ... told him to have fun trading it for something he wanted.

I loved the dumbfounded look on his and the CM's faces.

You know, that was so much fun, I'll have to do it again tomorrow.

:p  :p  :p

Ivanova, I officially nominate you as a "Disney Pin Angel"! That was a terrific act of magic that will be long remembered.

Susan is definitely a "Disney Pin Angel" and has help me many times over. I can't thank her enough.

I actually have selfish reasons ... I like how it makes me feel (even when the kids are too dumbfounded to smile). Last weekend I was trading WDW lanyard pins (to my daughter's utter dismay) to kids for what some might consider "junk" (travel co. pin and a GWP pin). But yeah, so what, it was fun. They wanted them not because they were WDW lanyard pins but because they were the characters they were collecting (dalmations and Tinkerbell). Those though I did caution about how "special" the WDW pins were, so they wouldn't get sharked.
