Are the treats and such at Cove Cafe at no charge, right? I thought I read somewhere about DCL having some items at a location, shop, bar or somewhere that was included in the cruise fare, then was taken back and was now priced.

Unless it’s changed the treats (rice crispies, pastries, etc) are included. The drinks are not included.

Right. Thats what I though. But I thought I read somewhere that DCL started pricing some snacks that weren't priced before.

Cove Cafe snacks are free. Coffees and other drinks are not. Free coffee is located in the buffet areas and at your rotational dining location, provided by Joffrey’s.

On the Wish class ships they do not have any treats available at Cove Cafe. On the older ships as of now they are still offered and free.

The Pubs on all the ships also sell snacks for an upcharge (which is the comment I think you are posting about). I believe at one point it was included but I only starting sailing in 2020 and it was an additional cost then as well.

The Dream and the Fantasy were still doing the late night adult only free snack bar area as of February 2025 (if someone has updated info would love it) but I did not see it on the Wish or Magic class.

Magic offers an included, no additional charge late night buffet at O’Gills. We just disembarked this morning in Galveston & can confirm they were available.

Excellent! I did not see it in September but I did not spend a lot of the evening hours in O gills

They usually have cookies! The cast member working at Cove Cafe will sometimes offer them, but other times you'll have to ask if you want some.

The Pub snacks on the Treasure were very reasonably priced and substantial. We ate the giant pretzel several nights. It was like $8.

I think people are forgetting that the cruise industry used to be all inclusive except for alcohol. Slowly it seems that this is coming to an end with additional charges for snacks.

Agreed. I would call them appetizers or meals, rather than snacks at the pubs.
