this really strange cat....

in my neighbourhood. He walks by my house twice a day every day at the EXACT same time! ( I know I need a new hobby but its right outside my office window lol)


I have to wonder about this cat... does he have a schedule? Does he go to special places at different times? Is there a PDA stuck in his fur? Does he have a special lady friend he visits and she only goes out at certain times? ( checking for my kitty whew there she is)
























ok ok I know.. his owner probably lets him out at the same time every day but still it made me think about him LOLand I bet it made you smile too

Actualy, he probably does have a schedule! If given the chance, most cats will establish a territory and perform regular patrols at exactly the same time everyday. Once their rounds are established, you can almost set your watch by them. They follow the exact same route and spend the same amount of time at each stop.

Just a bit of trivia I picked up on the Discovery channel. They didn't say anything about PDA's though .

They are incredible creatures of habit! We have a family of cats that has taken up residence on our patio. They do the same exact thing everyday. Mine do, too, they almost look as if they're checking their watches!

They most certainly have a schedule. One of my cats will hunt me down if I am late going to bed lol. He comes in and does this loud meow. He also does the same thing when it's dinner time.

My cat goes outside every morning (unless it's really cold) at 7:30am and comes and sits at my office window at excatly 10:35am every day. I though it was really strange too.

At night around 11:00pm he tries to play "tag" with me as I'm going upstairs to bed or downstairs to DIS.

6 am
Wake Momma - both

7 am
Sleep on Momma - both

8 am - 11 am
Sleep on bed - Wedge
Sleep on cat tree - Tycho

noon - 4 pm
Watch kitty TV (ie, sleep on the couches with a view of outside) - both

5 pm - 8 pm
Sleep on couch back - Wedge
Sleep on cat tree - Tycho

9 pm
DINNER!!! - both

9 pm - midnight
Sleep on cat tree - Wedge
Sleep on couch - Tycho

1 am - 5 am
Sleep on couches - both
