My Mom received a PIN code, but is unable to join us. I did a dummy reservation and it let me book with my name and address, however, I called Disney, they told me that she has to be present when checking in, since I do not share her address.
I am curious if anyone has actually been asked to have somebody present when you book a different resort, etc. I'm sure this is what they will say on the phone, and in fact on the phone the rules seem to vary more than on the website.
I guess it is a risk. But I really wonder if they will bother, or even know when you check in.
