This Picture Terrifies Me!

This is our new home in Florida....it scares the heck out of me!!

The whole thing is moving so fast! My stress level is so high right now - I cannot even think about packing, moving, being so far away from where I lived my whole life, new jobs........

We have been trying to do a little cleaning/packing each week, so there will be less stress when the time comes. Please tell me I am not to be so scared. It's a good thing, right???

We have good friends who moved from Indiana to Saint Cloud a few years ago. They absolutely love it. Their kids love it. Some of their relatives loved visiting them so much, they moved there, too.

It will be a great experience and worth all the trouble. Your house looks like it's coming right along.

I think it is normal to be a little scared, nervous, having second thoughts, etc...
I also think you will be fine. I had some friends move from B'ham to Michigan. They stayed for a year and decided to move back. So, you do always have that option if you wanted. But, I think living in Fl will be great.

You'll be fine! I moved away from my family to Dallas where I knew absolutely nobody. Seven years later I have many good friends. You have the added benefit that if you ever feel down, you can just zip to Disney!!!! Looks like it will be a great house when it is finished. Congrats!!

Just take a deep breath and breathe. As long as you can afford it, no worries! Wow, you're so lucky, it's a beautiful home! You will get everything done in time, I've gone through so many moments like that where you think it just can't possibly be done and some how, everything gets done in time. Just watch, you'll see. I'm moving away from home too, in 3 weeks, but I don't get to go to Florida, you lucky duck! I feel your pain, it's very scarey, but we have to do it (dh's job). I leave Friday to visit for the first time ever my new state! Yikes!

I think I know how you feel and I didnt even move out of state--just the next city over. We bought a new house a few months back. Bigger than the house we had, had a pool, and in a great neighborhood but I never could look forward to the move because I so dreaded leaving my little house I had lived in for 16 years.
Well I still havent totally adjusted to the new house but Im working on it. I have to say the kids and my dh just moved on over and never looked back.

Oh, my gosh, that is exactly the design of my house when I owned it. 3 bedroom/2 bathroom, right?

Everything will be fine.....

Youngest DS moved to Florida...Orlando area....it was a big move for him too....now, he is a through & through Floridian.....

all i got to do is break him of the habit of watching the weather channel and e-mailing me "LOL's" when he sees we're getting the 3 feet of snow...
